Probably server overload. It is not uncommon for iOS updates to take a long time to download whey first launch. Too many chefs in the kitchen. Just be patient.
Anyone know why messages has been running in the background for over 20m 🤦♂️

Do you have icloud messages enabled? If so, it could very well be two-way server traffic with the icloud network. At this time, I don't show that on my end yet.
Nope. If it's like every other iOS beta, it won't work until much closer to the public release. All my other banking apps work perfectly, except anything made by HSBC.
When trying to select text to cut/paste or to edit the text block on eg a forum message box in Safari it jumps backwards so you lose sight of the text when scrolling back down it will have highlighted one word normally, try again and it jumps back up the page again. Rinse and repeat until you get tired.

Thanks for elaborating on this, and wow that must be frustrating. My device just started to install the beta so hopefully, it doesn't happen to me.
I had this issue when I first installed beta 1 and it took several closing/reopening Instagram attempts along with tweaking my volume. It was random when it started working again. Still have issues occasionally though.
I have that enabled on my end and I have not seen that yet but it is definitely possible since it is a new feature. I would honestly try restarting your phone, maybe something just got "stuck"
It doesn’t happen in Chrome, but unfortunately you can’t increase font size in Chrome so it’s an inconvenience I have to put up with to use Safari and have a legible size of font on the iPad.
Is this issue across the board, or only specific sites? I remember issues similar to this years ago but seemed to isolated based on the website that I was trying to use the feature on. Maybe just a site, or compatibility issue with the site?
Has anyone noticed when setting up sleep focus and you complete the set up, go back to the focus modes and it shows you have not set one up? Continuous loop and seems to be not saving.
Seems to mostly be forums, but it’s happened on all the ones I’ve used, not all (but most) are Xenforo. Digital Spy (Hearst Media) is one that is not Xenforo, but at least 4 or 5 others I’ve tried are.
I’m sure all those processes will finish up a few hours after install
Instagram has been hot or miss for me. Most videos stop or freeze, and then the audio continues.
Does Icloud+ work for anyone else? It is telling me to upgrade but only shows me the 50gb or the 2tb plan, I want to keep my 200gb plan. Guess I won't be using Icloud+. Nvm I got it to work, guess it needed a minute to catchup.
Also, the new layout for settings is horrible, it feels like an iPhone app being utilized on the Ipad.
