Why do some location services arrows have a blue bubble around them? 🤔

Live text working fine here, safari is very decent for beta 2, get the occasional stutter/lag, not a deal breaker though, most of the time safari runs smoothly.
Live text from camera unable to work.

That means it only knows your approximate location. It is not supplying your exact location.

Weather, for example, only needs to know your general area, not down to the precise spot you are in.

Maps needs to be precise.

This way, it only shares what is absolutely needed.

Big green Zol of macrumors.

well that’s the rumour anyway.
Might want to see the doctor to get a cream for that.
Now we need macOS 12 to join the public beta party 👀💻🥳

Seeing as that only got Beta 2 this week, I would say next week at the earliest. From memory, though, I think MacOS always gets Public Beta later in the process than iOS. Something like with DB4 or 5, but my memory is not great for MacOS betas.

It’s an Instagram issue. This is happening to me and I’m not on iOS 15

not seeing this on my 12, B2. Hard restart. Off load Instagram and reinstall.

I had a banking app playing up. Off loaded it. Reinstalled and because that preserves the data, no annoying phone registering and signing back in, but was a fresh install of the app.

Safari is still a work in progress by the looks of it.
Well, hopefully that work is in progress. Considering the massive amount of backlash over putting the tab bar to the bottom instead, and all of the issues that's introducing, I know I'm not seeing much "progress" with any "work" on that front.

Yeah, I've tried all of that.. On the plus side, it's keeping me off Instagram more LoL

Am I the only one who find the precipitation map in the weather app a bit weird?

I don’t care about the colors, but it seems like it’s cut or some animations are broken? Also, who need a several day radar forecast? I didn’t know it was a thing since it’s probably not accurate.

I don't find the current radar depiction helpful at all. Too fuzzy and they use a color scheme unlike anyone else. I had heavy thunderstorms last night and the map was just showing fuzzy blue blobs.

Regarding your second question, a several day "radar" forecast is a thing and is produced by several weather models. Some of them are actually fairly accurate. At least gives you a sense of what to expect.

Something I noticed since Beta 2.5 (The second version of Beta 2) I can no longer make in app purchases on the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes game. I'm not sure about other in app purchases, and if this is everywhere or just this game.

I noticed when the tab bar color changes to something dark the date/time and status bar info don’t switch to white. If you go to a website that has a black background you can’t see it at all.
