iOS 15 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Anybody with a smart battery case on this beta? Does it work correctly? Or is it still bugged like it is on 14.6?
Some of these issues have been mentioned before but wanting to confirm if others are having the same problemsl I am not complaining, just want to see if it’s something I could fix or not.
Of note, all my devices (iphone 12PM, iPad Pro M1, Mac mini M1, watch S6, Homepods, Apple TV 4K) are on the latest developer betas.
A) Since Beta 2.0, text in pdfs are showing up as dots across all devices. however, when I send the same file to my wife who is still on iOS 14, the text shows up correctly. Exactly like this:
B) Since Beta 1 across all devices, my AirPods Pro stutters the audio (it‘s as if there’s a poor connection and the audio isn’t stable) - seems like some others are having this issue as well
C) Since Beta 1 across all devices, I’m having problems with certain VPNs. My PIA VPN works on IKEv2 as I’ve read in other forums, however, I have a AmpliFi Alien mesh Wifi system and primarily use its “Amplifi Teleport VPN” app where I basically remotely connect to my home wifi and this specifically continues to fail to connect.
D) Since Beta 1 across all devices, in HomeKit secure video, I am no longer able to swipe & delete suggested facial recognition (because Apple suggested the wrong person). Therefore, i can no longer assign the correct face/person.
E) Since Beta 2.0 across all devices, icloud photos facial recognition is going bonkers re-analyzing all the photos and removing a bunch of previously tagged faces. With beta 1, icloud photos was fine.
F) On my iphone in the Reminders app, when i click to add a “new reminder“ the keyboard does not pop up until i press “new reminder” again.
G) Apple Credit Card in iPhone’s Wallet app is not showing recent transactions - someone just mentioned this a few posts before Mine.

Mac mini iOS 15 🤔 I must be downloading the wrong public beta. 😳😂

Pretty annoying how the screen turns off in the middle of typing when I’m using quick reply on the Lock Screen. You’d think if there’s interaction the time out function would be negated.

Silly question but how has the battery life been for everyone since the re-release of beta 2? I know I have only had it for a day but so far my phone seems to drop faster now. Not sure if that is because I was finally able to fix the 5G service, or the beta, or a combination of both. haha. I have not noticed any heating up issues, although I do use an otterbox case.
Not great for me, give it a few days to finish indexing. using mine naked yesterday, no heat issues.
Not sure what the emojis are implying but seems to me that would make it more likely you’d be affected by it.

not seeing all of your specific issues, but ....
A. How are you viewing your pdf's? I am not seeing this issue on my 12Pm or IPP11.
B. Not getting stuttering on my APP however they cannot seem to decide what device to attach to and stay attached.
C. Having VPN issues if Private Relay is on.
D. Don't use.
E. This has been an issue for me since the start of 15.x
F. Not seeing this issue.
G. Same.

That’s mildly concerning—haven’t yet seen such an issue on my XDR Pro running the revised Beta 2.
Does anyone else have an issue where your phone switches from 5G to LTE just by walking outdoors when the 5G signal is good in both places?
How is your 5G configured? If it is set to 5G auto, it might be by design. If it is 5G on, then it might be a bug. My 5G goes in and out and I see my phone do the same thing but at times when it does not move. Not sure at this time when it started because I just was able to get 5G on my line running this beta.
One thing I hate about the new Safari design is it‘s harder to get to reader view quickly. Sometimes if you could enable reader view quick enough you could get around paywalls. Now it’s more difficult. Especially on iPhone where the URL bar on the bottom and you have to scroll to get it to reappear.

It switches back usually within a short time. If I had not seen it I would never had realized it was happening.
Mine is on 5G Auto.
You'd think by now we'd have Face ID for system apps, especially how apple talk up their privacy and security. disappointing since Face ID has been available since 2017 and system apps still aren't supported.
