I have a question about HomeKit secure video, Apple One, and iCloud+.
I’m on the 200 GB Apple One family plan. As a result of installing iOS 15, I’ve been upgraded to iCloud+, and I can verify that Private Relay is working.
What Apple has said so far about iCloud+ subscription tiers led me to believe that on a 200 GB plan, I should be able to add a second security camera to record HomeKit secure video. However, every time I try to enable recording on the second camera, the Home app insists I can’t record on more than one camera with the plan I have.
Is this a bug, or have they simply not implemented this yet? Or do I have to purchase yet more storage on top of what I already have via Apple One, despite what Apple appears to have said about the number of cameras supported in iOS 15 on the 200 GB tier?
