Same, unless there's a new shade that calls to me. But even so, I'm pretty sure I'm hanging on to my 12 PM (even if I get the new phone) this go round. I should probably get to scheduling that genius appointment regarding my battery, lol.
Have a feeling you'll be changing your tune after the event, I might be joining you. 🤔😂

That's how it locked me out for 5 minutes lol, after trying FaceID twice, then manual password a couple times (they have 3 options for passwords, as there's the main password, a digital secure key password and another one).
Time to find yourself a new bank that knows what they're doing. 😂

I have, just got a couple things left tied to this account that I am almost free of.
More than happy to beta test your banking app for you, hand it over after apple releases their new products next month. 😁😂

So...did HSBC releasing the app prove your theorem or not? Can't remember if you thought they would (A) release a new version of the app before September that would work or (B) ios15 would be updated in such a way that the existing version of the HSBC app would work.

Pretty sure he said B 😁✅

Some (including me) remembered previous betas where HSBC had to fix their app. Ansath mentioned other betas where Apple released a new beta after which the HSBC app started to work.

I win!

Until iOS 16 betas where we spin the wheel again.

I only play for fun; I don't even have the HSBC app :)

That's their standard when a beta is out.

In previous years, most the time, it's started working with a new beta, rather than an app update (even when HSBC said an update will be available once possible blah blah blah), occasionally it worked when HSBC updated the app.

As per each year, it could be either way, and we don't know until a new beta comes out, or an app update comes out.

Other banking apps broke in the last Beta, started working this beta. I saw someone saying in another thread ones broken in this beta.

That's what this forum is for, otherwise you could make your post about all apps and tell us this thread is pointless.......

B. FACT! 😆😂

Actually, I said both have occurred in previous years, but it was mostly B, with only A being occasionally. You can go back through my post history if you want to check.

Yes, I just wasn’t sure. Certainly did not ask to poke fun at you; was genuinely curious and did NOT want to go back and read all your posts!

The one thing that did not happen (as many said it would) was that you would need to wait until iOS 15 was released publicly.

No worries fella. If I had said it just the 1 way, I would have equally posted to admit I was wrong, if that was the case. Think my work has hammered Accountability into me too much haha.

Yea, that’s true, a lot of people did say no change before iOS 15 public release. I’d forgotten on that aspect.

Wifi

This is continuing to be an ongoing issue: wifi fails to connect on wake up.
Doing the old tried and true of wifi > off/on fixes the problem temporarily. I have 3 wifi networks: 2.4, 5, and a second 5, and it exhibits the same issue regardless what network I am on. My IPP 11 does this also but infrequently compared to the 12PM. All other devices in my abode have no issue; just iOS15/iPadOS15.

Looking forward to the next beta. 🤞

Feedback already filed.

I was having that issue on earlier betas, but not so much on this one. Sucked in the morning when I would try to get the HomePod Minis going and Siri would respond that I couldn't since my iPhone was not on the same network.

Not sure if you're overthinking this. You can just generally hide your work home pages and only enable them for your work focus. That's what I do on a test device, works perfectly.

What you're asking for is essentially an "off" Focus mode? Makes no sense to me, it's already there since iOS 1. Just hide your work pages by default and only enable them for your work Focus mode.

You’re missing the point: you hide the page and then use Focus mode to make it your home page wherever that focus is active. And you can set a schedule for any particular focus mode.
It seems like the focus mode also makes me manually choose who I get texts from though. I simply want to be able to hide that Home Screen on a schedule, I don’t want to be restricted to select contacts when that home page is on.

Forgive me if I misunderstand, but your issue is you want a work home page that only shows when you’re in work focus, and then hide that screen, when not in work focus?

If so, then create a Home Screen, that is just work related apps/widgets. Set it as hidden. Then in the Work Focus, have it show that home page. Then it will only show when work focus is scheduled to be active. That’s how I have it.
