iOS 15 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

iPad Pro 11 2018. I have “unread” badges in some of my app folders on the home screen. But the apps in the folder aren’t messaging apps and the badge doesn’t make any sense.

Do it. I did it with beta 4 yesterday and now beta 5.... I'm super impressed with it. Great battery life today, nothing broke, super pretty and have yet to play with Focus...

Noticed that when I select a photo to share via the Action Menu, the size options have changed. You used t have Small, Medium, Large, and Actual Size. Large is no longer an option.

I still have Large in my size list here on the forum, haven’t tested anywhere else yet.

What were the scores prior to beta 5? I would also wait and try again in a few days, might be the usual post-update routines yielding slower results.

Will think about it until public beta release!

but the public beta and the dev beta is actually the same build.

For me either I get the current dev build, or I wait until the next beta release.

Likely not.
I just noticed a change from what I had been seeing prior to this beta.

I don’t know if this was in beta 4, but you can now choose if you want to completely disable spatial audio head tracking or disable it for music only. I know in 14 and previous 15 betas, it was just an on/off for the whole feature.

Game changer. Spatial audio is now officially my second favorite feature of iOS 15 (first being the Safari changes).

If that’s like what I experienced once on beta4, try moving that entire folder to another screen. The notification badge should go away, and then you can move it back.

For every update I have to change language to US english, then it works, and then back to Swedish which then works also.

Mail works very good on my iPad Pro 11, even better than on ios 14.

You know emojis are not decided upon by Apple yes? And also that all new emojis for the year are released in a point release, not the main .0?
