iOS 15 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

The glitchy scrolling was only happening when I turned on reduce motion, went from being a buttery smooth iPhone to a Samsung galaxy z fold 3 😬😂

I have reduced motion on, and don’t see that glitching. Try it on in B5 and see if it’s fixed 👍🏼

maybe the forum again as I’ve just looked at my battery and it’s nearly down 25% in 2hrs. Phones only gets warm when I’m on here again 🤬

I can’t believe they’re actually going through with the new Safari. I’m just not going to upgrade my iPhone and iPad for as long as possible. I’ve never done this before.

Anyone seen any difference on Find my Airpods with iOS 15? I understand that they should be findable even when they are in their case now. Or does this require Airpods beta firmware too?

Yes. All video on all browsers not working. Can’t believe nobody else is commenting/noticing it. Audio only. No obvious fix either.

Probably because video is working for us. No issues on my 12 Pro Max.

Just did a screendump on my iPad Pro 11, should not have done that. Now the screendump is permanently displays in the lower left corner. I guess I have to reboot to get it to get away. Left side of keyboard can't be used.

Scrolling something definitely feels different. When you scroll globally, safari, in settings, it feels smoother… maybe they’ve slowed the scroll rate a touch, something I don’t know. It’s definitely feeling different from B4. Better different.

Firefox content blocker needs an update. Makes the back of my phone hot when on and goes away when off. Tried turning back on and it got hot again in about 5 mins on this forum.

iPad Pro 11 2018. I have “unread” badges in some of my app folders on the home screen. But the apps in the folder aren’t messaging apps and the badge doesn’t make any sense.

Just reboot, it will be fixed.

Battery certainly seems to have improved on my 12 mini, previously about 30 mins use was dropping the battery by 15% - 20%, seems to be less than 10% now

Last night, my iPhone said they all needed to be scanned, but seems to be fine this morning.
