Yeah, this works, but I mean being able to type text into the search field and see photos that contain that text.
If you are referring to bugs that have reoccurred in beta 5 that was quashed in beta 3, I would file a report in the feedback app advising what you are seeing. No way to promise anything will be fixed but given that we are still in a beta period, this is the best time to report the issues as they arise.

That was my biggest issue with the last Beta. I’ll have to skip this one until this is fixed.
Similar experience with my iPad… it gets hot as well. Have you tried a different content blocker? Firefox seems to be the best at the moment.
I sympathasise with you. Problem is that as soon as we buy the next gen. watch, AirPods, iPhone or iPad we are stuffed.
I’m leaning more towards it’s the forum. Played around a bit earlier with it off, did the update and thought it was helping, but on or off phones getting hot being on here.

I usually jump on a beta at the end... late august or so, just before the public release. Is it worth it on PB5 or should I wait? Gonna use it as a daily driver but not a heavy user... just music, texts and calls.

I don’t think you’ll get flamed, at least I hope not, but what I would say is if you have to ask the question you should probably not be on the beta.
Other than that, back up your phone and give it a go, take your chances.
Betas will always have bugs here and there.. I have been using 15 since beta 1 on my daily driver but I wont encourage others to hop on a beta ..
I think you should be fine. Just make sure to make a backup before jumping to the beta
I’m no stranger to the betas, but I often jump on the train late in the program. Small bugs that are acceptable during a late beta… fine.
Have read the thread since the beginning. Is it me or has there been a much more wide spectrum of bugs in 15? Some has this bug and some don’t… some bug for one guy and 100 others don’t. Do I make sense?
Yes but most have done a hard reset or installed and reset all settings and have fixed a lot of the one off issues.. there are a handful of bugs that we are all having that didn’t get fixed with a reset.. you read through the post you know what they are. I’m enjoying this iOS personally
I am also seeing Safari crashing infrequently when I close a tab. It may or may not reopen tabs on relaunch.
Same issue seen in Beta 4

Yeah I submitted feedback with the really obnoxious title “safari memory management really bad on my 6gb ram iPhone 12 Pro Max” lol
Two things I’ve noticed since the beginning of iOS 15, so if you don’t have ether, I’d jump in as it’s been really stable for a beta on my 12 main device, is…
1. Pro Max ‘seem’ to have more problematic bugs than other models
2. HSBC or FIRST DIRECT banking apps don’t work, yet, on ios15.
Back up to your computer, then your safe and can always restore back to this no matter what, and go for your life.
