Apologies if this has been pointed out before – but several long-press menus (such as this one from an alarm notification) now have images, whereas previously they were text only.

After updating I opened Photos and recived 2 popups. One I expected, the other not so much…

Considering I do not have a Apple Music subscription nor do I use it, what is this doing in the middle of Photos?

Kind of look like Apple is trying to figure what else to sell me …
Potentially tied to Apple Music support for memories.
The home bar has never annoyed me, I never even really notice it.
It gets annoying in Disney+ when it bugs out and stays on permanently (happens when you enter PiP or tap to reveal player controls a lot).

Running fine on my 12.9

How has memory management been? When I would use slide over apps they would constantly disappear with the last beta and I’d have to pull them up again. Are you having any issues with that on this beta that you know of (if you use slide over).

Speaking of memory management, Safari tabs still refresh when I switch around in them

And I have the 12 pro max too which has like 6gb of ram

So it probably still isn’t great still with this beta. Darn, I was gonna load it but I use slide over so much I don’t want to run into that again where it constantly closes the apps. Ive grown really dependent on that for multitasking. I never thought I would use it at first and now I can’t live without it.

It was a joke.. hence the laugh out loud
In all fairness, there's a scary amount of people that use lol and lmao as punctuation.

I've not seen the random screen waking since updating yesterday. I had it on B4 so it's odd that it's fixed for some, not for others and new on B5 for another group.

Another issue I had with B4 was CarPlay was just non-existent when plugging into my head unit. Normally it automatically switches as soon as I plug in but it would just stay on Bluetooth and the phone wasn't showing when bringing up the input menu. I've yet to test this on B5 but figured I'd mention it to see if anybody else had experienced similar. Will update later on once I have a chance to test again.

Edit: Opportunity presented itself pretty quickly. Still no CarPlay on B5. What's strange is the phone is being detected because the dedicated Pandora mode works as it should.

Apps closing on the slide out multi-tasking all the time, still isn’t fixed. What a bummer lol. Everything else seems to be working for me though (iPad).

My iPhone 12 mini will randomly wake up from time to time - no incoming notifications or anything…the phone will just be sitting there and suddenly wakes up. Weird.
I've had this issue on iOS 14 too. I don't think it's a bug, but rather an app that's sending a push notification that gets immediately retracted.

This happens with Telegram for example. If you're chatting with someone on a computer and have your phone there, it will sometimes turn on the screen without displaying a notification. This is because the Telegram instance on the computer immediately dismissed the notifications so it got retracted before your phone could display it.

But it woke up, so the screen stays on for a few seconds.

Other apps might do this too.
