Youtube search works fine on my side, both in the app and in SafariYouTube search is broken for me too. Works fine on Safari.
The reason you have more storage available, system data is now empty. 😃😳Yes. Before beta 5 I think I always had roughly 15gb free on my iPhone and 22gb free on my iPad. Since then my iPhone says I have 58gb free and 42gb free on my iPad. I have not deleted anything or changed much really. Also, system data never seems to populate, always shows zero.
They must’ve fixed it, all good here. 🕺Youtube search works fine on my side, both in the app and in Safari
Yeah it’s working fine nowYoutube search works fine on my side, both in the app and in Safari
It did that in previous betas for me.This is new in Beta 7 when I click on a link that a friend sends me in messages, when it opens up in Safari it’ll put the name of the person who sent it to you at the top of the pageView attachment 1823341
Weird. Never did for me for some reasonIt did that in previous betas for me.
Spotted the armchair developerThey betas we get are usually 4-6 weeks old. Meaning this beta 7 was finished 4-6 weeks ago. That’s how software development is done. We don’t get the latest and greatest.![]()
To add to that, Kernel date does not have to equal build date so we‘re mostly looking at any point between the 2 dates. At least.
I've stopped, as I was fed up of being abused.
You're incorrect @Arni99 . Never that old. Usually a week to 10 days between the build creation and when we get it. First beta is the exception and is more like 14 days.

Yup, same with an iPad Pro 12.9” 5th Gen.IPP 11 2020 / Magic Keyboard.
With this beta, I find that on attaching the MK, no keypress registers (supposed to wake up the screen) until I wake via the actual iPad. Used to be able to connect and hit any key 2x to wakeup and unlock.

Check your Mail notification settings, there‘s an item „Customize Notifications“ at the bottom that allows you to tweak alerts / badges for individual inboxes. B6 reset that for me, turning all alerts off (means no notifications).I’m still not getting Mail notifications on either my phone or iPad. Is this just me?
You’re an absolute star. Why bury a setting there though?I am using the Twitter TestFlight beta, that seems to work.

I did that and yes, it does stop the News app running in the background. But when I launch the News app again, it will continue running in the background until I reboot the phone again - doesn't need a hard reboot, just the normal one.
Have you experienced the same after using News after a hard reboot?
I’ve never had a chance to say this, so glad that now I have: Safari is snappier.
Specifically, flipping between tabs, swiping the bottom bar. It’s flawless now, all sites loaded fully, no jerkiness when going up, down or sideways through the pages.
I still encounter crashes at first launch. Second launch works as expected. It seems to fix some apps crashing upon launch like Twitter
Edit: had one crash but less frequently
