Nope, don't have time or energy to deal with all the bugs. Not to mention, backups get messed up once you move to the iOS version, so when you downgrade, you can't restore to any backups made on iOS 15.

The past few years, I've kept telling myself I'll wait for the GM release, but I don't think that's happened ever since I started beta testing. I'll definitely be waiting a few beta versions at a minimum though.

I'll connect my phone to my old laptop (new laptop only has usb-c and I've been too stingy to buy a lightning-to-usbc cable), do a full backup, then install iOS 15 as soon as it's released, and some kind website has uploaded the dev profile.

I did this with iOS 14 and although the widgets didn't really work at the beginning I still felt smug having a different home screen to anyone else I knew :)

I will, as soon as it's available to me! I enjoy the bug hunt! I actually just posted a question I had on the subject in the iOS 15 Speculation Thread. After receiving an invitation to the "AppleSeed" for iOS 14 and therefore being able to download the beta on the day off WWDC, I'm wondering if that's what'll happen this year. I was really surprised when that email came through last year.

If you want to work for free for a 2 trillion dollar company doing what their salaried QA employees are supposed to be doing, have at it and bug test for them

Regarding public beta as I am no developer, I will install a beta when it is the right time, reviewers saying it is stable in system, battery life and reception. And it should have a massive new feature that I want. A hick up here and there is ok. But overall performance, battery life on my Mini and reception should be good and stable.

If only the poll allows me to select both being a beta junkie and living my life dangerously with the possibility getting random heart attacks as the battery drains and screen freezes all at once LOL

But all jokes aside, given the fact that there had not been a major melt-down in iOS betas like iOS 7 did. I believe iOS 15 would be relatively stable even on developer beta.

***fingers crossed for major bug fixes***

Obviously depends on wether I feel new features to be worthy the hassle.

Would be on the iPadMini4 which I hope to stay around for some time.

That is way too sensible for Beta on MR. :p. Understandable, especially if it is your daily.

That’s the kind of willing spirit we want to see. Walk into the beta fire will eyes wide open. :D
