Typical warm to the touch and faster battery drain?
Not noticeable to me at least. It’s relatively stable, but then again there’s one random “restart” that was typical in early betas (that black circle loading screen then kicking you back to Lock Screen).

And as usual after the “restart” you aren’t required to use passcode to unlock and enable TouchID/FaceID.

Apart from the new UI of safari, the notification summary also took time getting used to and was a bit inconvenient in setting up. The way it currently is done is a bit unnatural to me I’d say.

However, that’s really it. Else it feels very smooth. Oh and the new look to Maps is clean and aesthetically please.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I may do something with iOS 15 this coming weekend if I get time.

I always skip out on the first month or so of beta releases. Usually by late July they are much more stable and can be used as a daily driver.

Generally I only install beta on my secondary iPad (iPad Air 3 at the moment) and if there's a feature I can't wait to use on a daily basis, I generally install it on my phone when the beta process is more advanced (like mid to end july) but this year there's absolutely no feature I can't wait (except Safari extensions, but since they'll only release when the official version comes out, it don't count) I'll just leave it on my iPad this year.

I like to have a stable GM version on my daily devices, especially with my 1TB iPad pro with tons of things on the drive, don't want to screw it and have to restore, cause I don't have the time to do a full back up of this iPad for now and even if I don't use my iPhone much, its still the most important thing for communications so it have to be stable.

I love my jailbreak on my Pro Max, so more than likely I’ll wait until a jailbreak for iOS 15 is released. Also I’m upgrading my device this year, so I want iOS 15 to make my phone feel new.

I'll be using the beta on the 2021 iPP since I might need to keep 14 on my 2017 iPP. Most of the stuff on my iPads can be re-downloaded anyway.

I never use betas on my dd iPhone.

I would update now if I could, but I'm not sure how iCloud+ works, so I'm not sure.
Are iCloud+ and iCloud's paid plans identical? I am currently signed up for iCloud's 200GB plan.
If I install iOS 15 beta, I assume iCloud+ will be enabled, but will I be able to use regular iCloud from macOS big sur and other iOS 14 devices without any issues?

iCloud+ is not live, yet. No word from Apple when it will be available in the betas.

Will be waiting till September for official release date :)
All you have to do is install the new iOS 15 wallpaper and boom you have iOS 15 😜😂

Unless you want the new Animoji features then I'm sorry I can't help you. 🤦‍♂️🥺

- Darker dark mode? I thought there was a new Dark mode coming, that would then darken the icons, etc...
This was fake news.
- AoD? Where's the Always on Display? That's a big one that's needed.

Most likely coming with the iPhone 13 release
- No more customization options? Like icon packs and themes for iOS? Without needing to use the Shortcuts app or Jailbreaking.
Nope basically iOS 14 with a new wallpaper.
