iOS 15 on iPhone 7 plus

I am currently on 15.2.1

My phone still cannot play video on safari or twitter (app or safari) but instagram works fine. Youtube does not work o n safari either- seems that video will play. I cannot pinpoint whether it has anything to do with the update but it is definitely unfortunate.

I didn't have this problem on 15.1, on multiple older devices including a 7 Plus. (I don't have twitter but the other stuff worked fine.) I sold all those phones before 15.2 came out so I have not tested them with 15.2.

Are you having this problem only on 15.2.1? Was it working before in iOS 15.x?

It could just have been perfect timing for a perfect storm- but it seems as though when I left ios14. I have not read anyone else having this issue and attributing it to the update. Looks like it may be the dreaded iPhone 7 audio chip issue that some have so insightfully shared with me

Well before I got my 13 Pro Max last month I upgraded my 7 plus to iOS 15 and didn't have any issues with lag or noticeably worse battery life (the phone was purchased early 2017, battery changed in late 2018) so it worked out fine for me YMMV.
