I think we’ll see 15.3 b1 tomorrow. Released 1st or 2nd week in February. Then 15.4 has the UC goods and is released to coincide with new iPad release in late March.
I don’t see Apple releasing a beta 1 this side of Christmas. I don’t recall that happening in previous years.

Yup, and expect to be on a ‘beta 1’ for about 3 weeks.
Yep, I wouldn't expect any betas or released updates from next week until probably the second week of January, barring maybe a quick-turnaround 15.2.1 on Monday for anything critical they missed in the 15.2 beta series.

Fair play, though iOS 14 was a weird one for releases from 14.0 until New Years though.

I’m just not seeing it happen with 15.3.
Actually, now that I look, every single one of the last five iOS versions have had a beta release in mid-late December:
I would call a 15.3 (or 15.2.1) beta this week more likely than not, given that trend.

I don't count minor point releases, only major point releases. So the only 1 in that list is 14.4.

I would back the idea of 15.2.1 beta 1, and your post supports that that is more likely than 15.2

I just seen that a 15.x release that brings UC would need a good amount of betas, and I see it coming with new iPads, which is likely end of March. There's not enough time for 15.2 without UC and then 15.3 with UC, with the latter having a decent amount of Betas, an RC then a final release (I would say the RC and Final Release likely would have a 2 week gap to load onto the new iPads ready for them to be shipped).

I don't mind being wrong, just that I don't see them not having UC come with the new iPads, so there's a set timeframe.

Are we to expect an RC2 for iPhone 12 series and below along with an RC3 for iPhone 13 series today, or an RC3 for all iPhones together again?

Public release came out yesterday, so the beta period for 15.2 is over. There won’t be new RC’s for 15.2.

It’s not unusual for different models to be on different build numbers with public release. Happens often.

See how you guys get on with that ?

My phone is running beautifully after a 15.2 restore. can’t see the notes bug amongst a few others mentioned. Recommend it thoroughly after all that beta action your phones seen.

??
That's my plan either today or tomorrow, after I reinstall macOS 12.1 ??

Yeah, I realised that TODAY because somehow MR homepage did not have that information readily available at first glance as it usually is. Likely got buried below more content. I realised that today when I saw Apple release a tracker app for Android (on the horizontal bar) and I decided to see what else was released, on a whim. Was taken by surprise.

So now hoping for 15.3 beta 1 today!
