Masks are still required in a lot of places anyway, at least here in the US. I work for the federal government so we HAVE to mask up. Iām excited about this feature!

a lot of places around me still have a mask mandate. Can't even go in to my work building without mask and showing proof of vax.
Yup still here in many areas of Mexico, in some cities they're even allowing people to work off traffic tickets by doing patrol work to enforce masking mandates!
Wearing masks helps with even the seasonal flu or common cold, not just omicron or covid.
The watch unlock was very welcomed, and I have to test out the new adaptation that does not require the watch, but it always seems that certain apps will not and really should not bypass the biometric feature, ie banking credit card apps, and more.

Guess people will finally shut up about Apple adding Touch ID back to future (flagship) iPhones. š
taking into account that it has been added from iphone 12, it will continue to be requested. and they will protest more, because it is pointless to leave old phones out of this. I hope that in beta 2 they reconsider, but being apple, I have my doubts

They will eventually add it back, either under-screen or on a button, like the iPad. But as a supplement to, and not a replacement of, Face ID. Would provide a second means of verifying the userās identity or of waking the phone without needing to glance at it.

This is awesome!! Can't wait for the 12.3 going public.
It works amazingly! I can see why they pushed it from a December release, to give it time to ensure it worked seamlessly.

It's a possibility we might see a final release of iOS 14.4 during Apple's Spring Event? I have a feeling we might be on a bi-weekly beta cycle. I guess we will find out this week. I also have a feeling this will be a busy week for Apple. I just have a feeling. Hope everyone is going to have a productive week. February is right around the corner.
