Considering BETA5 and RC1 is the same build, I highly doubt we will see another build for release next week. If they didn't consider 19E241 to be final we would have another build as RC1. Unless something unexpected shows up last minute.

No. Though the public release might be a slightly newer build.
That’s what I mean I know it’s the rc but sometimes they release a newer build like an updated rc, few times before the rc build wasn’t the same

Your post stated an RC2 before the public release.

I was disagreeing with that and stating that l, more than one, we’ve had the public release come out and be a newer build than the RC, but no RC2. Which is different to what your post was saying.

Basic things, such as scrolling, still don't work. So it's better that it's labeled as Beta...
No issues with scrolling for me. I can scroll on both my Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse, across 3 devices, and with my iPad Magic keyboard.

Though different setups can have different outcomes. Thus, beta.

It got broken for me with Beta 2, I think, and never got resolved...

This is the problem I have been experiencing.

I don't have a Developer account to download RC through IPSW, is there is anyway I can get it to install as a new?
Didn’t you download the Public Beta via the apple beta website?

Thanks, I am already on this beta, but thinking to do clean install, next week onwards I will be busy for more than one month so once it's released to public, I will be unable to do clean install, which I prefer IPSW file..

Honestly, there is no need to do a IPSW install if you’re not having issues with your phone.

I’ve always done OTA updates.

If you really wanna get off the beta train, follow these steps from SpecMode.

You’re welcome, @Pearsey will be on soon, he’ll tell you how to download a IPSW file, in case you need it in the future.

If he does, he’ll be violating MacRumors terms and conditions for the forums. The IPSW is for registered developers and MacRumors can get in some hot water with Apple for pointing out how to evade the restrictions.

It’s easy enough to google in any event.

Yeah, the macOS .pkg downloads are just public links from their servers. When their servers get updated, the link becomes public basically. They have an RSS feed you can subscribe to. But you do need a dev account to download the iOS & iPadOS .ipsw files as those are handled differently.

There's also this forum to check out:

@Pearsey & I had a few DM's about this, comparing performance and stuff. He can definitely help for sure, but the tl;dr is: First disable Find My in Settings, then download the .ipsw file from Apple, do an iCloud backup & a local backup in Finder, then press & hold Option and then select 'Restore iPhone'. This will open a browser window where you can then select the .ipsw file you just downloaded.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not sure, when I log into the dev portal, I'm seeing the iOS 15.4 RC, build 19E241. Also not quite sure what you mean here, because first you say he's downloading the older beta but then you say he is able to download the RC?

He was selecting wrong so he was able to see only initial beta version, but he corrected & downloaded RC, Thank you
