No one cares about the Public Beta though, because us here on MacRumors are all developer license holders and only use DBs on our development testing devices.

On-Topic: My gut tells me it‘s today

In the "old days" we had a new speculation thread for each beta release.

And we walked 10 miles to school through the snow, uphill both ways!

I’m quite the opposite, I get motivated when new betas are released! 🤡

Beta 3 should be today or tomorrow but with that small update coming last week, they may push it til next Tuesday and then get back on the every 2 weeks schedule until after Beta 4 or 5 when they go weekly. But this is based on previous years and this year looks different with the fact they released it on a Thursday with beta 2.

I recall previous years with hotfixes happening that didn‘t really mess with the release schedules.

Then again, we also had years where we got 2 betas in a week due to quality issues (instead of mere hotfixes).

I was already logged in to prepare for the eventual storm. Beta download page looking as boring as ever with no new builds.

But hey, there‘s still 3h from now for another shot at a new build.
 
Don't forget that Beta 2 was originally posted on a Thursday (and updated the following Wednesday), so the strict 2-week beta release cadence already doesn't apply — Beta 3 might show up today at 1 PM Pacific, it might show up tomorrow, it could even be on Friday — it all depends on when Apple has both scheduled its release and has determined it is in an actually releasable state.

Also the original beta 2 build wasn’t released at 10AM either.
