I have found that 100-99% takes 5-6 times longer than the rest, but from 99% on wards it’s pretty linear. Maybe you’re conflating that first percentage with the rest, which is why 100-90% will always last about twice as long as 90-80% does. I can’t explain the below 40% part, I’ve found it’s pretty linear throughout.Maybe its placebo but I feel like the iPhone stays quite long at "100%" but then drops quite fast once it goes below 90 % before it drops slower again below 40ish or so?
I miss the old way of how they used to present the battery status "since last full charge" by the way. Made more sense to me than "last 24 hours"
In addition to this, it never gets better, nor does it match previous iOS versions’ battery life.cmon dude, indexing the files takes half an hour maximum
Solid af, I’m hesitating to upgrade from 16.0 not to break it. Wi-Fi and data usage. 70% left
What device? One of the best I’ve seen so far.Solid af, I’m hesitating to upgrade from 16.0 not to break it. Wi-Fi and data usage. 70% left
13 pro max. Battery settled after some days. I did a discharge to 5% and a restart when it charged to 100%. It has been solid ever sinceWhat device? One of the best I’ve seen so far.
ME TOO. WHY? I don't know what's going on. It's like this iOS16 is trying to purposely kill my 12ProMax so I HAVE to upgrade.Anyone else’s phone hot af!? Ever since iOS 16, my 12P gets blazing hot. Just updated to the 0.2. It finished, and even though it’s in a case (clear Apple case), it’s nearly burning my fingers!
Battery keeps draining pretty fast and the phone keeps getting noticeably hot.
With a battery replacement I'm assuming since 2018?Battery life seems solid for me. iPhone XS Max, 100% battery health, fresh DFU mode install. Stays really cool and no overheating issues.
Getting about 7-8 hours SoT which is the same as when I bought the device in 2018, on its original iOS version.
When you say fresh DFU mode install, did you restore from backup afterwards?Battery life seems solid for me. iPhone XS Max, 100% battery health, fresh DFU mode install. Stays really cool and no overheating issues.

You could, but I'd personally do an iCloud restore rather than a device to device transfer or an iTunes restore. When you say fresh DFU mode install, did you restore from backup afterwards?
To clarify, I didn't restore from a backup. But I can imagine you'd have no problems with an iCloud restore. When you say fresh DFU mode install, did you restore from backup afterwards?
Yeah. From Apple, followed by a fresh install of iOS. Good as new. With a battery replacement I'm assuming since 2018?
I think you’re onto something here regarding the weather widgets on the Lock Screen! I removed 2 of them and I will need more days to test, but right now it’s 8pm and my battery still show 73% where yesterday with roughly the same utilisation I was at 49%… coïncidence ?!Don’t know if this helps anyone, for me I noticed it’s any widgets on the look screen that use location such as weather. Even the astronomy wallpapers drain the battery because they are getting location also. I noticed whenever I woke my phone up and I had weather widgets, it’s constantly getting location which is draining the battery. Got rid of weather widgets and battery life is good now.
Thank you, yes I love doing the fresh install and start from scratch. It does make a huge difference. Going through the setting is a huge pain though. I’m trying to see if doing fresh install+either iCloud/iTunes restore would act the same way.To clarify, I didn't restore from a backup. But I can imagine you'd have no problems with an iCloud restore.
