Some routers just don't fully work with communicating between different frequency bands, its odd some just don't.
My mates router (branded sagemcom) is a good example, his wi-fi connected speakers could only connect via 2,4Ghz. It worked connecting to them sometimes but mostly not.
Rang the ISP and they confirmed that its not supported, it "may" work but not supported.

Let me do a split again this week and then I’ll compare the IPs.

I didn’t notice until I just went on vacation but my 15 Plus seems to keep wiping its ram or something. Like I leave Google Maps open on a destination, lock my phone and when I wake the iPhone again, my Google Maps has been wiped and I need to search again. Same just happened with Safari

Same.
Set Directions on both phones (15PM / S23U) and when I went to activate when heading to the airport, the 15PM was blank.

I’m doing AM vs GM.

iPad Pro 11 G4
Safari

I’ll be on a tab with mostly text that I have zoomed in or out, drop to another app to check something, go back to Safari and the text in the tab will be small requiring me to zoom out.

Doesn’t happen all the time. Seems to occur more when I am in Safari, respond to a Notification banner, then go back to Safari.

Not seeing it on the 15PM.

Don’t know what is up with the Weather widget.
For a couple of days the widget would not display location. This morning the location is back. Not sure what the ongoing issue for little things like this is. Suspect it might be tied to so many things “phoning home for Apple controlled data”.

The weather app this whole time has been fine.

15PM.

I had same issue few days ago and it still visible on my Mac so it looks like Apple servers issue not specifically iOS

Discovered today that I can't create stickers from photos/Live Photos on my iPhone 15 PM. I can make the sticker from a photo or in the stickers app in iMessage but the sticker "pastes" itself into the app and then literally vanishes.

The same function on my iPad Mino works fine.

Apple notes the stickers are supposed to sync in iCloud but mine aren't doing that either. None of the stickers on my iPad have synced to my phone .

Notifications > Badges

Looks like incorrect badge count is back.
Mail shows no badge but I had several unread emails
GMail was showing a badge with a count of 1 where-as there were 210 unread emails. It is my “junk” account.
Blink showed a count of 1 while there were actually 3 alerts.

This apparently just started in the last couple of days.
pita.

Found a bug with Focus notification. On my wife’s iPhone 15 PM shows on iMessage that focus is on and is clearly off. I shut off the phone like 6 times and is not going away.

I've had that happen a few times in iOS 16.. Try going to settings/general/focus/ focus status then disable it. Restart your device and check to see if your wife's phone still shows the notification (she may need to restart her device). Then turn focus status back on.. If that doesn't work try deleting the focus and then set it up again..

She didn’t set up anything on focus she just turns it on because she sleeps with the iWatch. But when she turned it off with the iWatch it just stayed on her phone. I also reprogrammed the iWatch 4 times to see if it helps and nothing. I’m hoping iOS 17.1.2 will fix this glitch

iPadOS 17.1.1. Cannot select POIs to show info in Apple Maps. Can search for them and then it will work. Anyone else seeing this bug?

Reinstalling Maps app doesn’t fix.

Yet another iOS/iPadOS 17 bug submitted to Apple with no response or resolution. Come on Craig kick some ass!
iPadOS 17.1.2 did not fix this Maps bug. Even after wiping/resetting the iPad.

In frustration, as I don’t normally use beta releases, I then installed 17.2 Beta 4. Happily this does fix the Maps POI selection bug.
