This is available in b1 and b2.Is this wind map in the weather app new for this beta? I don’t remember ever seeing it, and I use the weather app quite a bit.![]()
Thought it was a one off, but yes, seems so.Anyone else notice reboots in iOS 17 are quicker?
is it the first time they mention in the release notes? interesting to understand what is a malformed ID3 tag
- MP3 files with malformed ID3 tags will fail to play (110230071)
Is a known issue.
I still can’t either.I repeatedly tried in B1 and B2 to get the Gifs to the front page and was not able to...
What’s wrong with OTA?I was finally ready to hop onto the iOS 17 beta train, but cannot get the ipsw to install via iTunes on Windows using the “Shift+Check for Update” function. I click the file I downloaded from the dev portal and nothing happens (not even an error message). First time I’ve had this issue. Anyone know a fix (and yes I searched the forum already)?
I’m part of the (probably small) camp that finds that the ipsw installs via PC/Mac are way more stable for the devices than doing the OTA. Whenever I have issues or weird bugs with OTA downloads an ipsw install generally fixes the issue. What’s wrong with OTA?
There’s thousands of us without any issue. Even the devs do OTA.
Unfortunately, there’s no arguing with sentiments.I’m part of the (probably small) camp that finds that the ipsw installs via PC/Mac are way more stable for the devices than doing the OTA. Whenever I have issues or weird bugs with OTA downloads an ipsw install generally fixes the issue.
Might be placebo, but I know there are others on here who echo the same sentiment.
You cannot install iOS 17 betas via ipsw without Xcode.I’m part of the (probably small) camp that finds that the ipsw installs via PC/Mac are way more stable for the devices than doing the OTA. Whenever I have issues or weird bugs with OTA downloads an ipsw install generally fixes the issue.

What does the System Data and IOS (17.0) show for everyone? Has that been updated for you?

Last I understood, iTunes on Windows does support IOS17 yet.I was finally ready to hop onto the iOS 17 beta train, but cannot get the ipsw to install via iTunes on Windows using the “Shift+Check for Update” function. It's just a dry heat lolIt looks like Weather App has been updated again. The screen is a lighter shade of blue now. See it in action below! (Hard to tell here but if you stare at it for 5 seconds or more the subtle blue settles in nicely).
