Folks that are updating from Beta 7. How was battery in Beta 7?
Haha, I’d never believe you would be that patient, by choice!I’m going to hit that “download tonight” button
😆😂🤥
Again? That was so annoying back in Beta 3 (?). Just installed B8, mine has stayed disabled thankfully (14PM).That darn 'significant locations' has enabled itself again. Along with 'iPhone Analytics and 'Routing and traffic'.

Give it time and do a hard reset and if that doesn’t solve it then reinstall. The stuttering when swiping down the Notification Center on my 13PM is still present
So this is beta 8 and I’m still having the issue where 3rd party apps are taking up more data/cache with minimal use and filling up my storage quickly. I’ve sent multiple feedback about this issue. I know I’m not the only one having this problem
Same here and the Cell Network Search. It’s super annoying. That darn 'significant locations' has enabled itself again. Along with 'iPhone Analytics and 'Routing and traffic'.

Turn off “search” on Home Screen and let me know…The stuttering when swiping down the Notification Center on my 13PM is still present
Is “significant locations” essential for anything else or can it be disabled?
Fine, maybe check the dedicated battery health thread pinned to the top of the iOS 17 board on the forum though for a better idea.

Still green bubble waller hugger levels in Beta 7.Folks that are updating from Beta 7. How was battery in Beta 7?
And for geofencing regarding HomeKit.Good for Apple Maps, quick route planning and such:

I think you’re referring to the system data bug that some people have. Mine is that 3rd party apps take up more data/chache just by barely being used. This is the first time I’ve ever had this issue with any betas. iOS 16 and prior betas never did this. Not sure why it’s doing it on iOS 17And I predict that … (non)mysteriously … it will go away as soon as you install the Release Candidate and all the logging and analytic files are removed.
I haven’t had this issue before but I’m seeing it on b8. YouTube & Paramount+ at almost 1GB and Tesla at 600MB and so on. Funnily enough the overall usage dropped by 5GB from before b8. Used to be 132GB and now it’s at 127GB.I think you’re referring to the system data bug that some people have. Mine is that 3rd party apps take up more data/chache just by barely being used. I still think what I & @gwhizkids are saying still stands, as it’s so close to the other issue, it has to be connected, and since that goes away with RC, your issue will too.I think you’re referring to the system data bug that some people have. I've never had it enabled and it hasn't had any negative effect. I don't use Apple Maps as it's useless here where I live.Is “significant locations” essential for anything else or can it be disabled?
Yea that’s exactly the issue I’m having. My YouTube goes to 1gig or more with just watching a few videos.I haven’t had this issue before but I’m seeing it on b8. Quite a few of us have taken that hit.Wasn’t great for me. I also noticed that my battery capacity went from 90% to 88% within 6 days. This on a 14 Pro Max.
Battery life has been pathetic since Beta 6
