I highly doubt we’ll be beta testing a point update for 3 months. There’s a good chance we see 17.6 in about 5 weeks. Not sure if I heard Zollo right but sounded like he said we won't see 17.6 until september right before the launch of Ios 18

So beta 3 or release today. Most likely release I would guess.
it's the only thing that could make sense at this pointim thinking iOS 17.6 beta 4 next week and then RC the following week
Okay, 17.5.1 downloaded and saved on my Mac. Just in case 17.5.2 or 17.6 turns out to be a battery hog.I wonder if Apple will release it today or tomorrow… Maybe I should download iOS 17.5.2 IPSW while I can, just in case.
I agree. I'd say there's a good chance 17.5.2 is going to include some security fix(es) if it's coming in this close to 17.6.seems like 17.5.2 will either be tomorrow or never. Could be possible the leaker was wrong
Do you need to disable the beta options to be able to downgrade via IPSW?Okay, 17.5.1 downloaded and saved on my Mac. Just in case 17.5.2 or 17.6 turns out to be a battery hog.
Basically: don’t count on a 17.5.2 if 17.6 is right around the corner. I stupidly forgot myself and posted that in Tapatalk with the usual emoji explosion.what was it?
If they finally do release iOS 17.5.2 few weeks before 17.6, would that mean they have three separate teams working on 17.5 bug fixes, 17.6 and iOS 18 respectively?Basically: don’t count on a 17.5.2 if 17.6 is right around the corner. A single team working on three projects...If they finally do release iOS 17.5.2 few weeks before 17.6, would that mean they have three separate teams working on 17.5 bug fixes, 17.6 and iOS 18 respectively?
Probably. But its possible some are semi-permanently tasked with one or more but not all three.A single team working on three projects...
