Never forget the iOS 13 beta that dropped randomly late afternoon PST/early night EST on a Thursday.
I was referring to the people who love commenting “nothing today” well before the usual release time. When was the last time Apple released ANY software at exactly 10am PST on the dot? It’s always around 10:05-10:15, yet people insist on entering this thread and saying “nothing today” at 10:02. It’s just so incredibly odd to me.Why would you come into a speculation thread and get annoyed by people speculating? What did you expect to find here?
Since 16.5.1 dropped today, I’m tho on g 17.0 beta 2 will come tomorrow, as rarely do they do 2 iOS releases on same day.
Edit: now I said that, it’s probably coming out any minute.
16.6 tomorrow and 17 beta 2 next week.
You’re ignoring Thursday and Friday beta releases in the past…..See ya’ll on Tuesday.
🥲
Cuz not everyone’s on 16.6 beta and it’s an important bug fix.No way 16.6 tomorrow, else what was the point of releasing 16.5.1 today?
That could come Friday and 17.0 beta 2 tomorrow….Cuz not everyone’s on 16.6 beta and it’s an important bug fix.
He meant 16.6 beta, cause we're on 1 week release cycle on thursdaysNo way 16.6 tomorrow, else what was the point of releasing 16.5.1 today?

16.6 tomorrow and 17 beta 2 next week.
I recall this being a case with a few . releases and betas where they were released a little after 1PM.Could be a 1 pm PT release as well…
Today is when everyone else gets their updates. I hope that means that ours are coming tomorrow. But I have a feeling that we are waiting until next week. All the updates we received today. Tomorrow is the last day to find out if iOS 17.0 Beta 2 will be released or not.

I always wondered about that? Seems like security/bug fix patches would be not much of BW usage for what Apple server farms are capable of. Not like the dev seeds are anywhere as much as public releases BW usage or even PB seeds comparably. Their other content on demand services such as Apple Music, News, Fitness, Apple TV +, App Store, iCloud, never slows down do they? Excusing some kind of DoD attack of course. They may be related in terms of bandwidth available for pushes, but that’s about it.
Now... I'm leaning toward iOS 17.0 Beta 2 is coming Tomorrow. Don't ask me to place any sporting bets because I suck at speculating 🙃
The Apple needle is easy to find... It has Find My enabled for it 😂A side note:
you know I have known you online for a long number of years now and I have not seen anything that you suck with. You are a very talented person. Don’t feel bad about not getting these beta releases correct, they are literally like guessing a needle that’s located in one of 20 houses that are all full of hay.
