Why would you come into a speculation thread and get annoyed by people speculating? What did you expect to find here?
I was referring to the people who love commenting “nothing today” well before the usual release time. When was the last time Apple released ANY software at exactly 10am PST on the dot? It’s always around 10:05-10:15, yet people insist on entering this thread and saying “nothing today” at 10:02. It’s just so incredibly odd to me.

I have no problem with the speculation, but it feels like coming here and proclaiming “nothing today” well before a release would even show up is the equivalent of writing “first!” in the comments section of a YouTube video. Just really odd.

The stuff that’s coming out looks mainly to be bug fixes. My guess is that they’ve prioritized those. Might also be one of those pesky zero day fixes in there too.

I would be interested in knowing if Apple ever “plans” for X.x.1 releases or whether they are always situational.

All the updates we received today. Tomorrow is the last day to find out if iOS 17.0 Beta 2 will be released or not.

I think we can safely say that iOS 17.0 beta 2 will be released.

They may be related in terms of bandwidth available for pushes, but that’s about it.
I always wondered about that? Seems like security/bug fix patches would be not much of BW usage for what Apple server farms are capable of. Not like the dev seeds are anywhere as much as public releases BW usage or even PB seeds comparably. Their other content on demand services such as Apple Music, News, Fitness, Apple TV +, App Store, iCloud, never slows down do they? Excusing some kind of DoD attack of course. :)

Now... I'm leaning toward iOS 17.0 Beta 2 is coming Tomorrow. Don't ask me to place any sporting bets because I suck at speculating 🙃

A side note:
you know I have known you online for a long number of years now and I have not seen anything that you suck with. You are a very talented person. Don’t feel bad about not getting these beta releases correct, they are literally like guessing a needle that’s located in one of 20 houses that are all full of hay.

The Apple needle is easy to find... It has Find My enabled for it 😂

On a serious note, I love coming and seeing all the people refreshing uncontrollably at 1pm EST waiting for the betas. Apple will release it, I am certain of that. The when it will be released that is up in the air 😃

Yeah, but (1) there are hundreds of millions of users on the public releases and (2) Apple doesn’t want to clutter the channel with anything non-essential when they’re pushing out urgent/emergency releases.
