Where did you get this to pop up? Its been seen before in previous 18.0 betas but it didn't do anything.

Can anyone test Waze in CarPlay ? if you can report and use the screen?, I had to go back to 18.0 because Waze was not working in CarPlay, I will like to go back to 18.1, thank you

The first thing I tested after I updated. Both are fixed in Waze and Google Maps.

You do have English (United States) set to language. This might be one of the reasons you've got it.

A button came up in the emoji picker to create one. I can't find it now.

They aren't in 18.1 beta 2. I wouldn't expect them to be in 18.1 at all. I'd anticipate that everything AI related in 18.1 is all that will be available in 18.1.

There was no way to know that for sure. It might have been a staged introduction. That’s not unusual with betas.

I set Siri to American English, region and language to US English, and in Spain it still says that Apple Intelligence is not available in my country or region. I don't know if there is anything else I need to do, but I don't think so.

It’s cos it doesn’t know what you’d consider distracting.

It’s for user to decide, like some sites have auto play videos that someone might not want in the page, etc.

Would be cool to see it learning from the user in that case. "ProbablyDylan doesn't like autoplaying video, so let me hide that before he asks me to"

that's all i did since beta 1. today after the update it said "Joined waitlist" without doing anything. And then i got a notification that i got access.

I have set it too, nothing...

Perhaps he possessed a UK variant phone which could enable the AI capabilities in beta 1, and he simply didn't attempt it. If no other EU users are able to replicate his actions, this scenario seems plausible.

Hmmm

You can trick certain parts of Apple Intelligence's UI to come up through a variety of ways - I managed to get the genmoji generator to appear by just constantly pulling up and closing the keyboard and occasionally a "new emoji" button would appear near the search bar for a split second. With the right timing you can pull it up. It still doesn't do anything.

You can also do this kind of stuff on non 15 Pros to get things to appear, though of course it doesn't work there either.
