Still noticing heavy stuttering while swiping between home screens intermittently, and have also noticed that the thermals are on the warm side on my 16 Pro. Wasn’t like this on the 18.1 RC, so looking forward to the Beta 2.

That's odd, because I haven't experienced any lag or stutter on my 16PM.

Took all night to download.

As an actual paid developer and security engineer, I am surprised it took this long to get in. Now that Apple lets anyone get developer accounts they need to have an access list for real developers and security professionals that are not trying to get the latest betas to play around with all the new fun toys.

I hope you get in soon though...
Is taking too long for everyone.

Just to be clear, I wasn't accusing you of anything or being against you. Im happy for you man!!

It was just a comment. Im waiting for my turn ;)

Is it possible to use a reference photo for a Genmoji or does it have to be a 'Face' in the Photos app? It's odd as it's not brought all my Faces in to Playground or Genmoji, you can't search them and they're in a weird order, but I am loving using it so far (got access last night).

Made my whole wider family in Playground and put them in a grid, my family is in stitches, some of them are so uncanny!

Is any developer STILL waiting on 18.2? Checked my account, everything looks correct, yet still no 18.2.

You can import a photo to use yes.

I think they’re going to have a very large controversy about image playground + people you know when it goes live. I’ve just tried it with like 10 friend/family faces and I don’t think a single one of them would find the AI photos to be a flattering depiction of them, even after scrolling through several source images for each.
They’re purposefully cartoonish - Apple has stated that they do not want these too be “too” realistic, for obvious (unfortunate) reasons. Mine have proven to be fairly identifiable, if not hilariously caricature-ish at times.

For the Image Playground stuff (sorry, not nearly as hyped about this as some are around here), are you only able to do headshots? Used a pic of a good friend (amputee from a deployment we were on) and it only did neck up. Manually typed in the additional details and still only neck up; wouldn’t do his prosthetic or even chair.

Just curious about the parameters when it comes to people (I’m seeing full-bodied animals - SO full-bodied they have multiple tails and extra arms most times 🧐)

So far looking at all the crappy, useless examples of Genmoji and playground... I really don't feel like I'm missing out by not getting it yet.

Humans (at least adult humans as we’ve seen) are headshots only. I think you can imagine why that might be, particularly for women.
