Same. Rebooted both my watch and phone and tried to initiate the update from the watch with no luck.

Try going into watch app on phone general storage and see if the file is there. (Watch OS update file)

Could you elaborate on what issue you are seeing and with what email provider? I'm trying to decide if I should jump on the beta bandwagon again, but if the Mail app is too broken, I might wait...

Google removed the ability for the iOS Mail app to get push email from them to encourage you to use the Gmail app. There's not much Apple can do.

Rebooting my Ultra did not help with having the firmware installation problem. I now believe it is something that will require a bit of a wait while Apple fixes something on their side.

Hopefully this fixed that dreadful bug in HomeKit that kept on insisting my hubs weren't responding even though devices not on the beta worked completely fine. Upon opening the Home app for the first time after updating the error immediately cleared and so far, so good. But it was intermittent...

There are dedicated threads for Watch issues (I’d imagine), but from what I’ve seen and am experiencing it appears that the update problems may be with Ultra 2 models only.

I have the issue on watch 9 and my brother with his ultra 2 Apple watch

Yes, mine is an Ultra 2 model, perhaps there is an issue specifically limited to the U2 at this time.

Seems faster but I wonder why "phone call" has been missing as an automation trigger in the shortcuts app in the 18.2 betas
