Mail is still trashed. Anyone noticed if it’s new mail on iPad now?
The problem is on Google's side not Apple'sOh yeah. I just wished the default app could support it so I can delete the Gmail app

I must be lucky because I’ve not had any of the issues others have described with the Mail appLooks like Apple still haven’t fixed the broken native email app. Well done Apple 🤦
It’s mainly syncing issues - I use gmail and iCloud, but basically nothing syncs over properly. And when you send an email it stays in the outbox even if it’s been sent.I'm now asking the same question to you (sorry 😉): what issues are you seeing with Mail and what mail provider are you using? I'm deciding whether to install it on the iPhone or not.
On the iPad it's still the old mail (I just installed it on my M4 iPad Pro).

In effect I’ve got a different set of mail on my iPhone than on my Mac/ipad

On Apple Cash.

I can’t update my Watch series 9. I got always an error. Trying with the app and on the watch. Same result.
Just go into Gmail seetings and set-up mail forwarding to your Apple mail account. Works a treat. New mails arrive in seconds!Native email app is trash. Can’t even get push notifications with Gmail.
iOS installed just fine on my 15 PM but watchOS 11 Beta 2 fails to download. Anyone else?

I appreciate that. This is actually Apple Cash and not my banking institution. Green Dot is the servicer Apple usesI believe this feature was shown at WWDC.
Also, if I were you, I would blank out the name of your bank. The less you show people online the better. You’ve just given them some information about you making it that much easier to hack in.
I don’t understand what the issue is. I have a Gmail account, haven’t installed the Gmail app at all, but I get Gmail notifications and emails in the Gmail inbox in the Apple Mail app. Is there something I’m missing?the fact that default mail app does not support push from google accounts.
Or sound still. At least for me. No ding for new email.Native email app is trash. Can’t even get push notifications with Gmail.
It hasn’t supported it since iPhone 4 maybe when Google got rid of free Exchange push for non-Gmail app.the fact that default mail app does not support push from google accounts.
