I can’t believe after all these years there still isn’t an option in the Mail app for iOS or macOS to return you to the email list as opposed to just dumping you into the next available email. With so many Apple commercials about security and privacy and stuff, I really just can’t believe the Mail app still will just dump you into the next available Email after you delete or move an email. Even if that email is some totally bad junk mail full of malware.

I filed FB10280669 back in June of 2022. I could probably post a few Apple commercials specifically focused on privacy. Totally goes against how some of their apps actually behave, though.

iOS 18.2 (iPhone 13). The Calendar app icon is showing the wrong date. Opening the app shows the correct date.

A restart didn't fix it, but switching display zoom to larger text, then back to default, did.

Since updating my 15 Pro to iOS 18.2 I’ve noticed that when I go to the emoji keyboard the green camera dot appears in the Dynamic Island. It never did this prior to 18.2. It doesn’t show when I go to the emoji keyboard on my iPad on 18.2. The only thing that’s different now is that I have Apple Intelligence on my iPhone since updating it to 18.2 (can’t get it on my iPad). I can’t understand why it’s using the camera. I’m just on the normal emojis, not doing Memojis.

iCloud tabs have stopped synchronizing since iOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2.
iPhone does not show even one iCloud Tab from the macOS running 15.2. Neither does the macOS show iPhone iCloud tabs. However, the macOS shows iCloud tabs from iPad running 18.3 beta.
Is it just me, or something wrong with my configuration.

Works for me, but only partially: tabs that I closed on the Mac don't disappear from iCloud Tabs on iOS. I see a large amount of old closed tabs, along with the new ones.

Since the iOS 18.2 update, I no longer have a car icon in the Now Playing platter when my phone connects to my car stereo. It used to show a car 🚘 but now it just shows a generic Bluetooth speaker icon.

I’ve confirmed that my device is set to “Car Stereo” and have tried forgetting the car stereo and reconnecting, as well as restarting the phone, but no dice.

Just wondering if this is an issue specific to me, or if it’s an 18.2 thing that others are seeing as well.

I noticed the same. It's such a weird bug.

Recently I read somewhere that 18.2.1 is ready, but because of the holidays will not be released until early January. Apparently lots of bug fixes.

Anyone else having the issue where your cellular Apple Watch can’t check your Gmail account when you’re away from your phone?

Started with iOS 18.2 / watchOS 11.2 so I assume it’s related to all the iOS Mail app issues.

Using Safari with iCloud Private Relay turned on has been brutal on 18.2 — sites often take 15-30 seconds to load.

Turning off iCloud Private Relay solves the issue, but I prefer to have it on.

Bring on 18.2.1

That's more of an iCloud Private Relay network issue (server-side) than an iOS issue. I've had that problem on and off with all versions really. I try to keep it on for a while, until it disappoints me again.

Emmediately after updating to 18.2 my 16 Pro stops charging between 63 -66% dispite setting a battery charge limit of 90%.

Even though the phone is connected to the charger charging is completely disconnected from the power source.

To resume power I'm forced to recycle power to the charger, I'm still using the old Apple 5W charger. The charger is definitely not over heating.

I have changed chargers and cables. No change.

Anyone out there with the same problem ?

It is 2025/01/06 so will 18.2.1 be released this week? Will be glad to get some bug fixes.

Does anyone else have the issue with the glitchy adaptive mode icon? I sometimes see the old rainbow-colored design and others I see the new design; it's extremely jarring.
