iOS 18.4 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Agree that Apple AI has been very disappointing. The biggest upgrade I was looking for were all the Siri advancements. Nothing else matters to me as far as AI updates. Used Image Playground for a day, maybe 2. Custom emojis are cool, but I'm done now that I have my 4 favs. And I could've lived without those as well.

Siri is just bad and has been for years. Most of the time, I'm telling her to use ChatGTP for answers as her's are either non-existant or terrible (I try using her for the multitude of questions my 9 year old has about the wildest stuff ). Alexa almost always has the answer. At least I can bump to CGPT now.

Maybe iOS 19 will be the wonderbread we've all been waiting for. Though we say that year after year.

AI is gone again on my 15 PM - without restarting or anything else - what a ********

Happened for some users, too over the last days. Turn off apple AI, wait a bit and turn it back on (best is when the phone is charging at this time).
Next beta will most likely fix this.

Some of the features aren’t working anymore, new Siri animation is gone and back to the bulb.

I hope we will get a new update this week. Still having a lot of WiFi disconnections and I’ve had to reset my network settings again. Since the restart the phone is very slow again and also the new Siri disappeared

It’s not per se the Siri animation, it is that this is an indicator Siri is not properly working in at least one region it was implemented with 18.4 as it should.

I hope. Only the WiFi disconnect issue isn’t marked as reported from others. My other feedbacks are marked as „more than 10“
