Have you tried resetting all settings?

Be aware though that WiFi passwords would be removed from the Passwords app and you’d have to reconnect to ever network again.

I haven’t deleted all but a few. No change.

I love the ambient music feature and use it all the time. Sometimes it pauses for no reason, and when I press play the playback bar gets buggy and does some very strange things, flickering and blinking. Does this happen to anyone else?

By the way, 18.4 on my 14PM is a breeze, I have improved battery life, and overall it feels very stable except for this little bug.

I use it very often too, but no sudden pauses or flickering and blinking … maybe force restart ?

I did it and after 1 hour in a row of playback it comes back...

you have to do it by application, it's a shame there's no universal setting, but thanks ; are we sure apple is aware of this? has this bug already been reported on the Apple forums?

The bug has been submitted, but ever since I turned off automatic grouping, it's nice and smooth.

Am I the only one feeling the 1 nits minimum brightness isn’t working probably? Screen seems way to bright in dark rooms even at lowest setting. I’m using auto brightness and turning it down manually doesn’t change a thing.

Turn off Auto Brightness, set white point to 100 in Accessibility, and then turn the brightness all the way down. You may need to turn True Tone and Night Shift off too.

Hotspot works fine on my 13 pro and 14, using it to a PC a few hours a week but only about 1-2 hours at the time.

iPhone 14 and 15 here. I don’t have issues on Personal Hotspot, nor Carplay.

When I installed the 18.4 RC, I also noticed that my old iPhone was finally removed from Screen Time. Unfortunately, my old MacBook still appears.

Just noticed that my old MacBook is finally gone, too! My Screen Time device list is finally accurate!

That's been an outstanding bug for about as long as I can remember sadly.

I'm having so many issues with Bluetooth not working, AirPods forgetting they are paired, Apple Watch not staying connected and getting messages or being able to answer calls, etc etc. This software is just going from bad to worse.

I don't know if I will even still be using apple devices by summer if this keeps up.

Try to backup and reinstall from fresh. It looks like there’s glitches specific in your case.

Unfortunately I didn't have a pro phone during the iOS 16 era, but I haven't seen or felt any lags or even skipped frames with iOS 18.4. The only issue I have is the notification animations but I already beat that one to death hah

Are you talking about how the notifications are kind of jumpy on the Lock Screen when swiping them up?
