That’s what I thought, thanks for confirming, haven’t upgraded yetIt's the same.
I can't stand the new changes! It's incredibly hard for me to find photos from years back now.Why do they keep screwing with the photos app? Other things look cool.
You have to specifically click the actual light symbol now in order to turn them off.Figured they would break/change something. I used to just tap my home accessories to turn on and off in control center. Now I am stuck tapping and swiping up/down. Lame…
When I finally upgrade to iOS 18, I hope I’m not disappointed with the new photos app. The one I use now has worked really well for me. Locking an app sounds like a feature I might use. I’ll probably wait until November or December when iOS 18.2 drops to make sure most of the kinks are fixed. Why do they keep screwing with the photos app? Other things look cool.

the most disappointing IOS upgrade i ve ever seen since IOS13.So none of the more interesting new features are actually available. We need to wait some time in the fall or winter for them. Why does Apple always release software that isn't finished or ready. Why not just skip the September launches if the thousands of workers at Apple can't get their jobs done on time, and release the software at the end of the year?
the control buttons on the new control centre look a lot smaller, thanks to the space kept both size.Have a look under the control centre settings, I think you may have the "Access within apps" toggle off.
it's called agile software development. In other words - release software that is mostly working, but missing all the features. So none of the more interesting new features are actually available.
