personally I think we will get beta 6 or the RC today. I still think 18.1 is a few weeks out so more than likely beta 6

maybe to us but I think the reason apple is not in any rush like years past is because Ios 18 hasn't had any critical bugs, overall its been smooth. touchscreen response is unfortunate but not something I'd rank as critical. Ios 16 and Ios 17 both had 2 critical bugs upfront, 16 was the storage bug and 17 was something bad as well.

Apple still not releasing the M4 iPad 18.0 fix is still weird. Usually they don't wait this long. My guess is the M4 will go right to 18.0.1.

It’s a beta

I don’t mind bad battery and expect that on a beta but it’s not bad, it’s horrible…it’s weird because for the most part, this beta is very stable for me but the battery is draining to the point where I’m charging twice a day.
15PM with 127 cycles and 99% health. Anyway, just my 2 cents

Lots of M4 iPad Pro users aren’t on iOS 18 yet. So I think 18.0.1 is more likely today.

It’s a beta - means back and forth, beta 4/5 stable doesn’t mean it’s stable in the next beta…so yeah no argument at all
