personally I think we will get beta 6 or the RC today. I still think 18.1 is a few weeks out so more than likely beta 6
Nah, 18.1b6 getting battery life fixed is more important.
maybe to us but I think the reason apple is not in any rush like years past is because Ios 18 hasn't had any critical bugs, overall its been smooth. touchscreen response is unfortunate but not something I'd rank as critical. Ios 16 and Ios 17 both had 2 critical bugs upfront, 16 was the storage bug and 17 was something bad as well.
Apple still not releasing the M4 iPad 18.0 fix is still weird. Usually they don't wait this long. My guess is the M4 will go right to 18.0.1.
I will be on a flight so I will miss the excitement / meltdowns tonight / this morning LMAO 💀
I don’t mind bad battery and expect that on a beta but it’s not bad, it’s horrible…it’s weird because for the most part, this beta is very stable for me but the battery is draining to the point where I’m charging twice a day.

the official release is more important than the beta, I guess that’s what he want to say - and I agree
You wouldn't rank the inability to properly use the primary input method of a device as critical? Good thing you're not one of the people prioritizing Apple's bug list.
Pff why you install dev beta on a daily driver expecting good performance and good battery life!?
