I had to enable automatic aspect ratio after this beta 3 update, the previous beta 2 had the aspect ratio choices. Everything else was set right for match content parameters to a 4K HDR TV.

Sorry what I meant was that I am not sure that beta 3’s coming this week leads me to believe we are getting a beta 4 of iOS and iPadOS.

I hear from sources that Tim Cook got confused on which button to push yesterday, and so pushed a button that only drops betas for tvOS and visionOS. (They have a separate release button for these betas since they’re so insignificant to most people). Mr. Cook is now waiting dutifully to press the button today (let’s hope it’s the right button).

there hasn't been any rumors about a iOS 18.1.1 release

at least there was for 18.0.1 so that's why im skeptical

would be nice to have some bug fixes and not have to wait till 18.2 in December
