Hoping for 18.2.1. Battery life has been abysmal. Down 5% right off the charger, mid day I hit around 70-60% with normal usage.

According to 9to5 (which I don’t believe. Beta 2 on a Friday, RC on a Friday. 😂)
iOS 18.3 release date
Apple’s beta testing schedule for iOS 18.3 will almost certainly mirror the beta testing process of iOS 17.3 last year. Here are the dates of iOS 17.3’s beta testing cycle:- Beta 1: December 13, 2023
- Beta 2: January 3, 2024
- Beta 3: January 9, 2024
- Release Candidate (RC): January 17, 2024
- Public release: January 22, 2024
With people just coming back at Apple from the holiday period, not thinking so. My guess would be Monday or Tuesday.
If we show our excitement for 18.2.1, Apple will not release, they’re watching this thread, so keep calm, react only after release…
The update is clearly finished as we have a build number so why would they need to wait to release it if its ready?
I tend to agree. But at the same time it’s a “reputed build number”. Until it’s out it’s not real.
The update will probably be ready before the holidays, and maybe today they will have finished the last adjustments and launch it right away.

Apple hardly ever drops updates on Fridays. It’s possible they could drop an update today, but pretty unlikely I’d say. I wouldn’t expect anything until early next week.
This isn’t far from the truth, in fact, the feast is still ongoing over here.

I'm not excited about the 18.3 beta cycle. I've sat it out and given the zero updates in it seemingly, I was right to.
18.4 though - that could be a spicy update. When are we expecting beta 1 of that, roughly?
I’m guessing we’ll get at least a few new features in 18.3, probably in the next beta.
Most likely end January as 18.3 supposedly out end of January
