This means 18.4 will be really early April! Even it may be boring for US folks, for a lot of us in Europe this is a huge update.

Soon we will have IOS 18.5, once it comes out to the public 18.4, or maybe we will go directly to IOS 19 after the WWDC
Interestingly, this one was labeled “iOS 18.4 Release Candidate.” I’ve never seen that before with a RC; usually it presents as if it’s the final version with final release notes. Certainly seems like there will be a different build seeded to the public.
I get it labeled as a Release Candidate and without a changelog. I've never seen this before. 🤔

Umm you need to read my initial post why I said it would be today and someone said no it will be another beta. Another beta would have pushed it out 3 more weeks which would be mid April is what I was saying.
I expect release to be Tues or Thurs next week. (which is early April like Apple stated)
Another guess of mine: final release next Thursday. So the release itself will be in time. OK, Siri isn't but AI for Europe!
So it would be hysterical if it came out on April Fools day with all the apple intelligence features working. That would be the best joke ever

I think next week we will see IOS 18.5 comments on the new implementations in 18.5 are accepted
For what? There's nothing left for 18.5. The only unannounced, non-delayed feature is more languages and the only one they said by name was Vietnamese. Seems like there are still some Mail.app bugs, but that would hopefully be addressed in an 18.4.1. I am hoping off the beta train until 19.
There’s likely to be bug fixes, optimizations, etc. And they sometimes still include minor new features in later updates like x.5 updates. We could see some additional Control Center buttons, Siri Shortcuts, default app options, etc. We likely don’t have anymore big features coming in 18, but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to the refinements, bug fixes, and minor feature additions that may come. 👍🏻. I guess I’m just easily pleased. 🙂😉
I’m looking forward to iOS 18.5. I’m hoping we may see some new Control Center buttons and maybe some new Siri Shortcuts actions as well. The new Control Center is by far my favorite feature of iOS 18! I’m hoping we’ll see some more great additions to it like we have in 18.4! 👍🏻
I wouldn’t rule out 18.4 next Monday. I know Apple said April, but it seems like 18.4 is ready to go.
There’s still bugs in the mail app. If you have “group by sender” on, and go into a sender and start deleting messages on by one, some messages just start disappearing and there’s a lot of black space between messages. And it’s a very easy bug to reproduce. It’s almost as if the people who design this software don’t use it themselves.
That’s definitely true. 👍🏻. We could see an early release with iOS 18.4. I definitely think though that if it isn’t Monday it would almost definitely be the first week of April. 👍🏻. And then we’ll hopefully be on to 18.5 betas shortly after! 👍🏻. I’m looking forward to more of my emails having the icon from their source in the Mail app. More email sources have begun to add their icons, like Amazon and such. 👍🏻
