Yep. Being that 18.1 is still going to be in beta, it's still gonna have all those processes of a beta happening in the background. That's why battery life is always going to be an issue no matter what when on a beta. So RC of course will have much better battery life but us on 18.1 will still be dealing with a little less, with at least some improvements from the current beta.

Ha, get a teething baby in your life then you'll make a mistake...totally thought Monday/Tuesdays release was beta 7.

So, I meant beta 8 could be the same build as the RC, which we wont know till the RC obviously comes out as it always does, after the talk. Then we can see if we had the RC already with beta 8, or, it's a few builds newer, which wouldn't be a surprise ether way.

I'm well aware of that beta life, however I've not seen anything that indicates where the 18.1 betas have been branched off from, so I don't have a reference point of when to expect to not need to top off during the day.

Yeah me too, don’t think we get anything today anymore.
But one little glimpse of hope still there because beta 3 was released 10:27 pm or so in the evening here and right now it’s 08:51 pm

When will pre orders be able to be bought? September 9th? I ask cause I’ll take the day I preorder. Take the day off
