There are changes to messages bubbles vs 26.0. Now they have an outline around them on bad contrast backgrounds like light backgrounds.

Assistive Touch still won't go to sleep after taking a screenshot? It's been like this since iOS 26.0 beta 4 or so, and it doesn't look like they're going to fix it.

its funny that no mainstream users social media complains about this except here on macrumors.
My apps only redraw upon startup, presumably to correspond with the tinted appearance I have set, and it’s extremely fast so it doesn’t really bother me. If it were happening all the time that’d be a different story.

And I haven’t seen the flickering widget issue personally but across 26 betas and final I have seen many patches of weird flickering/botched translucency-transparency even with Reduce Transparency enabled so I entirely believe you

If you click on a widget when using tinted app icons, the widget flashes to default light theme for a split second then when you go back to homescreen the widget goes to dark mode for 1-2 seconds before flicking back to tinted theme.

Anyone know if the app redraws and widget flickers have been resolved? taking ages to install on my 16 Plus.

App redraw issues and widget flickers have NOT been fixed.

This is just ridiculous at this point…

Safari stutters fixed in this update?

Curious what people have been seeing here as I've not experienced any of these issues (same with the two other devices I'm responsible for).

I would echo what someone else said, if it was an issue for any sizable percentage of the user base, there would be a raft of social media complaints (people love to complain about Apple) ... but there aren't. I'm guessing my experience is the majority experience.

Hopefully the issues you folks are seeing get resolved soon.
