Oh goody, the “first time you search something, it will never complete” bug is back in Safari.

Work around: search it again in the same tab.

Not quite.

Using MR as an example, if I typed “macrumors” into a new tab, the progress bar will start, but never load the page or go past say, 1/8th complete.

If I pull up the address bar again and type macrumors into it again, it loads instantly.

No issues with searching here.

So forgive me if I don't know what the app redraw bug is. Does it mean when you swipe between home screens, the icons tend to have to "catch up" to show completely? If so, I am on 26.1 Beta 3 and I don't see the issue. Even when opening folders there is no issue. I am on a 16 PM

Are chats in messages supposed to blur at the top? If you force close messages and open it again, your chat will be blurred at the top, but as soon as you back out of a chat and go back in, it’s not blurred anymore. I kinda like the blur. I wonder if they intended it to always be blurred and it’s bugged.

Same for me. The only time I ever get any sort of redraw is in settings right after I restart. Not a big deal.

All my conversations on my Air on B3 have that blur at the top and I can’t replicate what you’re seeing so must be one of those random bugs that are selective in who they inflict their bugginess on.

...its like Zollo's continuous wallpaper bug not fixed - to be honest I don't even see the wallpaper dimming at all going from lockscreen to homescreen at all, and if.. I don't think I care if there is a slight difference in brightness...
This is the wallpaper bug, and it’s super annoying. I feel like it got worse in beta 3 because my usual workaround didn’t fix it yesterday without rebooting. Seems like anytime I change wallpapers I notice my wallpaper being desaturated. When you choose HDR wallpapers or wallpapers with a lot of color that are photos and not original Apple wallpapers, that’s how you notice it.

Not to say it’s not happening, just that bugs like this can be hard to fix if it’s not a commonly reported issue
The fact that Feedback assistant shows it at “more than 10” reports means it is commonly reported. FBA will only show less than 10 (not so common) or more than 10 (very common). The fact that one or two here don’t experience it is irrelevant.

Yes, swiping between screens the folders will fill in. Initially they are blank for a split second then they appear. Some app icons will also not be outlined for a split second then appear. It’s not just folders but primarily involves them.

Yes that occurs after every restart. Takes a several seconds for everything to fill back in. The swiping between Home Screens is a much shorter issue. One second but easily noticeable.

Or maybe some people experience it but it doesn’t bother them as much? I’ve had the bug both on my 16PM and 17PM but I barely even notice it in day-to-day use.

DB3 behaves somewhat rougher on my iPad Air M1 - some occasional Home Screen re-springs when minimising some apps (all the apps and the dock disappearing for a second and then all return) and the upper portion of Safari looks messier (something weird with the colour blending and adaptation to different backgrounds). For me this is the buggiest iOS 26 beta ever (and I have used them since 26.0 DB2), so I would not be surprised if we get another fresher build before the PB3.

There are at least hundreds of thousands of people running beta builds – ten, twenty, even 50 reports isn't a commonly reported issue. We can't really know what the actual reported number is (which is annoying) – my point being that we can't take reports here and what feedback assistant as an indication of how widespread an issue is. It could be, though – it's usually difficult to know.

Has anyone else experienced issues with Google Maps and Waze not rendering on iOS 26.1 beta 3 on CarPlay? I was trying to search within either app, and each one took an eternity to show results. Then, I tried opening each app on the CarPlay home screen, but they both showed transparent windows with no maps displayed.

I had to re-flash iOS 26.0.1 later that night.

I will sell my iPhone 15 PM and AW 10 and buy a new iPhone 15 PM with iOS 18 und a AW 10, because i can‘t use an AW with Watch OS 26 on a iPhone with iOS 18.

After a month with Liquid Glass, i have enough from the buggy, Eye straining and Battery draining iOS 26. Since iOS 26 my AW didn‘t vibrate anymore, when i receive a iMessage.

I hope, Apple let us user choose, how much Liquid Glass we need.

I think Apple will drop support for iOS 18, when iOS 27 is released or will they release in future security fixes for iOS 18?

Are anybody seeing banding in the sky when doing photos? Just updated and did a photo to the sky, and see a lot of banding. Wasn’t like that in earlier betas
