A bug that was in B1 and carries to B2: typing a search into the Safari address bar and hitting enter just goes to a blank screen. Whatever you typed into the search bar is gone and if you start typing it again, it’ll show in the history with a timestamp like it was a completed search.

I’ve just tried a few searches and this isn’t happening for me.

Does this beta fix the app redraw issue?
I've given up on that ever being fixed. Seems very limited in scope and something they aren't going to worry about. It has gotten "better", but still there. Not sure on this beta as I haven't taken the plunge since B1 failed and I had to restore.

There’s been this annoying bug for the longest time where if you’re in an app with a Liquid Glass search bar, and you use the Touch Bar to switch to the previous app and back, the Touch Bar will switch from dark mode to light. And vice versa if you’re in light mode. It especially happens in music.
Can’t see this on my 17 Pro.
There is a relatively smooth transition from dark drey to white (phone is in dark mode), while switching between apps. I also tried it with the music app.
Don’t see an issue here.
Could you show it in a video?

Apple emailed me regarding a modem error and dropped calls I was experiencing since the iOS 26.1 update. They said they've made changes and improvements and hope the problem is resolved. Although they didn't mention iOS 26.3 beta 2, I understand that's where these improvements were made, because the email arrived half an hour after the second beta's release. What's surprising is that my report isn't among the few known reports of the same issue. Even so, they must have looked into it and noticed something in the logs to take the time to make these improvements.
Nice. Thanks for reporting and good to see that they’re sending out feedback once in a while.
Would also guess that the fix is in 26.3 B2 because of the noticeable jump in the modem version - if the bug is especially related to this.

I have something similar with FaceTime calls.

My iPhone 17 screen shows the incoming call (and my laptop shows it and immediately rings if it's on), but there's a delay of a few seconds (5-10 ish) before the phone rings.
I’m having issues on my Mac with Live Voicemail. I use Wifi calling, and if I try to pick up a call on my Mac, it fails every time. It says the phone has to be near and on the same wifi network (it is), but that’s only relevant with wifi calling turned off.

Wifi calling on the Mac works otherwise. Also live voicemail works on the phone.

Technically a Mac cross platform issue, but related to iOS.

It’s strange, it happens in only light mode with some apps and only dark mode in other apps.

Has anyone seen any issues with albums in Photos? Pictures have seemingly gone missing; pictures are still on device but not in custom albums. Trying to pinpoint if that happened at the start of the iOS 26 cycle or some beta there along.

I hope it will be solved as soon as possible, I recently bought an iPad Pro M5 and after restoring the backup I had the same problem. I solved it in part by activating the messages in iCloud that forced indexing, made the photo tab appear in the contact info and downloaded most of the photos but many boxes in the images remain gray and if I touch one of these, the loading icon completed by three quarters appears but does not download it and does not show it. I have no more ideas
That’s as far you can get. There is no other fix. I’ve tried everything. Apple engineers said they know and have dozens of reports and wait for a fix.

None of my Home devices are reachable any more through the home app, only through the Philips Hue and Tado apps. Each device reports through the home app as unreachable. Anyone else experiencing that? I have restarted all devices and hubs

Edit: after updating software on my Apple TV it started to work as expected again.

Have you tried resetting the Home Screen layout? This fixed it for me initially. You will have to re arrange your icons again though, but is worth a try.
That only works, temporarily, because it gets rid of all your folders. Once you reorganize and recreate some folders the redrawing returns. This is permanent, at least until ios 27 or later.

I switched to DuckDuckGo because of this and for whatever reason it no longer happens

Anyone have any issues with automation shortcuts not working? It's only begun since installing the 26.3 beta.

I wonder if 26.3 Beta 2 is having Matter integration being done.

Matter 1.5 Launches With Camera Support

Has anyone had an issue with Beta 2 activating the "Sleep" focus when it shouldn't? My sleep focus is activated randomly (need to do some more testing to try and figure out what causes it). I usually notice when I look at my watch and see the sleep focus icon. I have verified the sleep schedule (currently 12:00 am - 8:00 am), and I can't figure out why it is being activated outside those hours aside from a new bug being introduced in beta 2.

Had a strange thing with CarPlay. I got a text message and the messages icon on the Home Screen and the messages icon on the sidebar of the dashboard both showed the red (1) badge. I listened to Siri read the message and the badge in the Home Screen icon cleared, but not the icon on the dashboard sidebar. It never did clear before I got out of the car. Obviously the next time I drove my car, the badging was cleared.

I saw that one time previously on. One of the 26.1 betas.
