Chase is just spinning. It did let me in eventually, so not sure if it was just a first launch thing.
Okta launches fine. Bit longer than usual for notifications.

Beta 1 does have the Preview app on the iPhone
GREAT CALL OUT!! Was about to the install on my iPhone 16 PM then turned off the BETA option to stop the download, as I use Teams and MS Authenticator daily for VPN. Ill wait till someone tries it and posts if it works still lol
Damn. That control center is just plain awful and unusable….
Don't want to sound like a broken record, but this happens every time Apple rolls out a big UI change. Give it time (and log feedback) and hopefully the most glaring issues will be fixed before the fall
Yes it's a beta but pretty disappointed with this. Aside from the lag like others, this liquid glass is not it. The icons (even stock) and the lock screen clock look like a graphic designer just went crazy with the bevel effect. Not up to Apple quality. Looks like some low quality theme you could download from Cydia back in the day.
Yeah, I predict that there will be very mixed opinions on the use of glass. As a UX designer myself, I'd never do it.
One small, great change is search bars default to the bottom of the screen. No more thumb stretches.
OMG that control center screenshot looks horrible...That is truly bad design; they need to darken the background/make the glass effect more opaque.

I feel the exact opposite. I think it’s exactly Apple quality and looks very cleanly done. Very happy with how it turned out
This look is really odd to me – it almost feels like I'm back in Aqua land, but less garish. I don't love it, but as with any dramatic change, I need to sit with it for a while. A huge part of the initial impression is affected by natural change aversion (although that control centre does look bad).

To be fair, it's beta software, which makes it by definition unfinished.

Where is the guy that kept complaining about the home bar at the bottom? Seems to be hidden while in apps (potentially due to the fact that most interactions UI floats down there now).
