I was showing a friend some of the new features and customized my home screen by tinting it blue. Right after that, my phone suddenly went black and has been unusable since.
Now that’s a blue screen of death!

I am running on 16PM. Besides the battery drain the only issue is when I was at 20% I put it in low battery mode and it was stuttering so bad. After charging it and flipping off low battery it worked perfect. Strange that would cause that. Other than that it runs great

Also with CarPlay aren’t the calls in messages supposed be tiny and not take up the screen. Mine still do. Is it because I don’t have widgets set up yet?

Want to install this on my iPhone 15 pro. I have it installed on my iPad Air and it’s not bad.

I’m flying in two weeks and don’t want to risk the app or my boarding pass not working on my 4 flights 😭

15PM running cool with Proton VPN enabled.
Now I have ProtonVPN as well. It works really nice. I guess the heat and battery drain is because of iOS beta itself and not because of the VPN. Maybe many background logs are sent to apple.

PS: To me it’s only important to solve the Deutsche Telekom peering problems. Many websites are slowed down by them. With VPN it works much better but no VPN was stable enough for me yet. Cloudflare is good, different, but very buggy. I do like ProtonVPN now.

I jumped in last night and at first I wondered if it was a mistake. My 16 Pro was hot right after the install was done. But about 30 mins later it was back to normal temp and seems to be working well. Impressed on this beta so far and the stability. Some bugs and battery isn’t the best yet, but to be expected. Overall, look forward to a potential new beta next week and what that will bring.

I 100% agree, on my 16 PM B4 runs like absolute crap, stuttering and frame drops everywhere. I really don't understand how anyone thinks this is fine. While B1, B2 and B3 mainly had stutters between home screens it ran significantly smoother overall, B4 stutters everywhere constantly.

If anyone's tried running Windows without a GPU driver installed, it really feels like that at times. It runs, but runs badly, it's on the home screen, opening and closing folders, scrolling in settings, apps like Amazon and safari etc. Worst beta or official release I've ever used.

But for some reason it runs pretty smoothly on my iPad Mini A17 Pro which is only 60hz, makes me wonder if they've broken how pro motion works where it's constantly changing the screen refresh rates at times when it really shouldn't be, or not changing it properly at all.

Scrolling in settings for example, recording is a lower frame rate, so hopefully this jerky stutter comes across. Now apply this to every app. It's horrific.

Ever consider the possibility that your experience is not everyone’s shared experience? Not discounting what is occurring on your device but to make it seem like everyone is having the same or similar issues as you but just accepting or ignoring it?
