Battery life has been terrible for me on my 16 Pro. It also heats up quite a lot when charging.

Update via IPSW—it really seems like folks who have this complaint usually update OTA. Whether you do it or not with full releases is one thing, but I think it makes all the difference with betas.

My WiFi connection has been poor since Beta 9. I have tried rebooting the router, forget network and re-join, but it's still only half the strength is was on Beta 8. I'm a bit reluctant to reset network settings because it's a PITA re-connecting BT devices, passwords etc etc.

Pleased to report that the battery is back to being stellar on my 16PM after day 1. Additionally, thermal performance has improved as well. Running smooth on the 12PM as well.

15PM running smooth and fast after the initial indexing.

I am experiencing a bug that makes the Watch S10 with WatchOS 18.6.1 keep receiving Telegram notifications even when sleep mode is active.

If you have a big playlist the amount of songs left doesn’t show again at the very bottom. It was there in earlier betas, gone in beta 6, back in beta 7 and 8 and now gone in beta 9. Anyone else have this issue using Apple Music app? Music files are downloaded to the device.

I’ve installed it on 16PM. And I can’t stand the Liquid Glass thing. It is not finished. There are UI glitches all over the place when opening, closing apps. Moving between home pages. Toggling switches.

I don’t think they will be able to fix all that by next week for RC. I disabled the transparency and reduced motion, because it hurts my eyes :-(

Also, have this weird bug in safari where a large black box appeals when scrolling. Closing safari and restarting sometimes fixes it :/ Visable on all safari tabs private or not the box is present.

I have Reduce Transparency mode on, I’ve turned it off to see if that’s causing it. There’s a lot of visuals bugs with it on I’ve noticed, more so when dark mode is on as well with it.

Edit// Still happening even with reduced transparency mode off :/

And I’m aware the last 4 digits of my card is visible. That’s fine :)

I‘m having serious issues with cellular data. Everything seems fine, but then there won’t come any data through, webpages aren’t loading and apps show no connection. A restart didn’t resolve anything.

Just crazy, I reported this like two or three betas ago…and I also use dark mode/reduce transparency, as I’m sure millions of others probably do, so lets just chalk it up to user error, right? Or maybe not so much…. Alas, looking forward to a slightly more well-done 26.1 :)

I am currently listening to a large playlist (well, played directly on the HomePod) I checked my Music app on the phone and I had to scroll a while before seeing the icon and "743 More Songs"

I am using iPhone 16PM and on the latest Public Beta

Anyone else having problems with Face ID?

On my 15 pro I feel like Face ID maybe works 70% of the time now. Which is frustrating.

Having the same exact issue, also having some wifi issues. It's pretty rough. I am traveling this week, so it's been fun lol

Not once…
Maybe deactivate Face-ID and activate it after you force restarted your iPhone?
Force restarted and re set up Face ID already.

It acts like it’s working but just doesn’t. Then have to goto passcode instead. Not almost every other time but close.

I’m really surprised by the amount of people present here who are complaining about the minor visual glitches. I know it’s annoying, but all things considered, it’s really not as bad as it could be as iOS just underwent a massive UI overhaul, and fundamentals such as performance, thermal management, core functionality and battery are working in a smooth manner.

i just wonder what kind of pandemonium would’ve broken loose had some of the people on this thread been around in the days when we transitioned into iOS 7 from iOS 6… not only were the visual bugs much worse than they are right now, everything else was awful including thermals and battery life, and the bugs broke fundamental functionalities in using the phone.

Have some patience, guys.

Thinking the same !
