Sorry guys, I have to ask again as I've looked all the settings and cannot find away to get rid of the tick and search bar above the keypad in the picture below. And surely I can't be the only one who's getting it, can I?

It's supper annoying as once you've typed a certain amount of text, the bottom lines are hidden by the bar and tick and you can't see what you've typed.

I removed SwiftKey as someone suggested this bar might be part of it, but that hasn't helped at all.

Any help massively welcome. View attachment 2543465
If you click on the check mark, it'll make the keyboard go away and you can see the bar again. Click on the bar again and the keyboard will show up as it should.

Do you have this option in Settings flipped off?

Nope, I keep it on—which on my iPhone it behaves correctly, it only badges apps that I have it turned on for. In my case, I’m getting badges for apps that I’ve turned off, but only in the App Library in the view of a folder. If it’s one of the top three apps in the category, it doesn’t have a badge.

This is an iPadOS 18 bug. Apple has simply ignored it. I wouldn't be surprised if it carries over in 26.0.

Thanks cafe505. So this bar is normal and everyone has it? If so is there any way of turning it off permanently? I find on too many occasions it obscures the view off the text box once you get to the bottom. Especially on MacRumors. As I type now, I can’t see what I’m typing.

I know I can tap the tick and it’ll go away but I don’t want to keep doing this every time.

I am currently listening to a large playlist (well, played directly on the HomePod) I checked my Music app on the phone and I had to scroll a while before seeing the icon and "743 More Songs"

I am using iPhone 16PM and on the latest Public Beta
I scrolled all the way to the bottom and it’s not there. I have over 900 songs on the playlist :/ hopefully it comes back for me in RC

just confirmation from someone here in the UK and they too are getting this bar. Seems some have it and others don't. Rather strange

Wondering whether I should do another clean install 🤔

Haven't seen this reported... I am having a new issue that I've never seen before. I have two home screen pages set up, both with widgets, folders and individual icons. Every so often, I'm losing the second page. Soft/Hard restart, power off/on, etc. do not seem to bring it back. Yet after awhile, it reappears on its own.

While it is gone, I do not have the option to readd the icons for the apps from that page to the home screen from the App Library, because it thinks/knows that they already exist. Yet, that home screen page is completely gone, even if I use the "Edit Pages" on the home screen configuration menu. It's not available to select to enable.

Wait until Tuesday when the RC is out. No sense in re-flashing the same buggy beta.
Makes sense. Reflashing is a tedious abd laborious task. Done it once already last week when I was having banner issues with mail. Thankfully the refresh fixed that issue. And now to hope Tuesdays release fixes this odd box issue as as I typed I can't see what I'm typing!😂

Can you still open App Library or the Widget Today View thing on the left side?
