Sorry guys, I have to ask again as I've looked all the settings and cannot find away to get rid of the tick and search bar above the keypad in the picture below. And surely I can't be the only one who's getting it, can I?

It's supper annoying as once you've typed a certain amount of text, the bottom lines are hidden by the bar and tick and you can't see what you've typed.

I removed SwiftKey as someone suggested this bar might be part of it, but that hasn't helped at all.

Any help massively welcome. View attachment 2543465
Have you tried hitting the check mark on the right side of it?

I don't even know what it is for. But when I tap on the checkmark, the keyboard goes away. I see it on other forums. So it must be an Apple thing. Strange, as doesn't seem to have a purpose or function. I use TapaTalk most of the time. It's not on TapaTalk.

Yup. Hitting the tick gets rid of the box. But as soon as you reenter any text box, it reappears.

And definitely an Apple Safari glitch as I'm testing this forum on Chrome and no ridiculous and pointless box is appearing.

One bug I noticed recently is when I’m out walking wearing my AirPods in noise cancellation mode and I come to a busy/noisy street the AirPods will start turning up the volume but they don’t stop. The volume keeps going up and up. I have to pull out my phone to turn the volume down. I hope that’s fixed when the RC drops.

Is personal volume turned on?

In the last beta on, for whatever reason, the volume on my Apple Watches (series 4 & 8) goes down to zero, neither watch is on the beta. Not sure what causes it. Hope this one fixes that issue. Also hope that it fixes the terrible battery drain, which was noticeably worse on my 16PM. Somehow, the battery was excellent on my 12PM last beta. Hope that continues.

The same battery issue has occurred with my 16PM. It’s now draining much more quickly than on the previous version, and I can’t figure out why.

I wonder why Apple doesn't extend the iOS 26 feature "Time To Battery 80%" to watchOS 26. Apple Intelligence should be able to handle it! Let the iPhone calculate it if the Apple Watch doesn't have the CPU power to do it itself.

I am convinced too, that I will buy the 17 PM 100% - so I already sold my 15 PM before the prices fall, I am 100% confident that I will like the 17 PM, so some of us don’t need reviews for decide what to buy
I noticed this morning that via the Apple Support app (my screen became severely scratched, was thinking of swapping it for $29 under AppleCare+) - they offered me $210 for my iP 16 P as a trade-in

Wow, $210! That's terrible.. yah, so timing is pretty essential when selling almost-old iPhones for sure

I got 660 bucks for my 15 PM

I sold my 14PM to Gazelle for $473 - $430 plus a 10% bonus for selling it early. It was my "test phone" for the betas, and I'm happy with my 16PM as my daily driver for the next year or two.
