I was thinking more along the lines of a good old fashioned public tar and feathering.
It was very kind of Apple to wait until after I was finished with my drive for my business trip to release the next update. Thank you Tim Cook, I know you’re reading!
I hope not! WE NEED 26.1 RC AND WE NEED IT NOW
I see it already coming… installing the RC and then next week updating again because the final might be a higher build, wouldn’t be the first time.
26.1 public release today to throw everyone for a loop! 😄 last week beta 4 was the RC.
Over the years, there have been instances where the final beta is the final release, they just drop the build letter. This was more typical in the pre-iOS 14 days when they used GMs instead of RCs. But there is a chance the current build is final.

Currently travelling. I might hold out with Beta 4 and then directly update to the final version next week.
The beta works really well good for me. Battery could be better but as always…

Maybe we'll see the x.1 RC today and x.2 beta 1 tomorrow. Last year RC was released on Monday and x.2 beta 1 on Wednesday. I'd be very surprised is we get nothing today..
