iOS 26 Speculation Thread

Because of the public beta coming out the day after beta 1. Was that the case last year for x.2?
It's a state holiday, but most private businesses (including Apple) are still open. State and federal holidays typically only apply to those that operate at a state or federal level.
And we had a beta release on that day last year if I’m right.
I think beta 2 will be a 2 week cycle so next week

26.1 was released a week later compared to previous .1 releases, so we are a week behind schedule if going by past releases.
The .2 update is usually released the second week in December. This gives them the following week to do an emergency bug fix, if needed, before everyone is gone for the holidays. That's 4 weeks away...so we're potentially looking at 3 more weeks of betas and 1 week for the RC.

Which time zone, NGZ (new galactic time) - Mars Standard ?Tim Cook called me today that 26.2 Beta 2 will be released today after 10PM
Apple said 26.2 is coming in December, so I’ll actually be surprised if beta 2 isn’t released this week.
They need extra time to add more bugs to the Music apps on iOS and MacOS.
It's getting harder and harder for them to find functions that work without issue in order to insert the bugs.

26.1 was a solid step in the right direction.
Call me delulu, but I think there’s a good chance iOS 26.2 b2 is released today.
The Digital IDs won’t require an additional update, so that won’t hurt the chances of a 26.2 beta today.

Would be fine if it’s even a Tom who presses the button. But I slowly fear we are still on the initial 2-weeks cycle…
