Hey, did you happen to clean the USB-C connector on your phone?

Also, did you try using a different cable?

If neither of those steps helps, it might be a good idea to take your iPhone 16PM to the Apple Store. The Genius will need to replace the faulty port and fix it.

Just a heads-up, you won’t be able to do anything until that’s all sorted out. ✔️ That’s the only way to restore or downgrade your iPhone when you’re using Finder or Apple Configurator.
USB c port completely filled with super glue as i read online that could clean it out but I foundling get the glue out after as it dried up quickly , now my iPhone not lettting me sign into iCloud so think my iPhone completely done for

Hey, that’s not the best way to handle it. The adhesive is great for removing stuff like silly putty/slime or temporary tape from speakers, but usb c ports it’s a no go 🙅. The super glue is super strong and could have already caused some damage to your iPhone. It’s probably best not to try and remove the super glue yourself. Instead, take your iPhone 16 Pro Max to the Apple Store with the Genius Bar. They’ll be happy to swap out the port for you.

I know this forum will continue until September but as tomorrow iOS 27 beta 1 is dropping this wont be as active, thanks for all being part of this speculation thread over the year and the older ones.
🫡 Just like the iOS 26 battery life thread, this virtual roundtable has been a fantastic discussion about how our iPhones handle battery life since Liquid Glass.
We’ve shared our thoughts on whether adaptive power is always the best way to manage battery life on our iPhone. 📱
We’ve also talked about those moments when battery health drops unexpectedly and significantly, and those times when we had the best battery life.
However, it’s worth noting that iOS 26 has improved the battery settings page interface. It now provides a rough estimate of how long it will take to charge to 80%, and if applicable, the charge limit set.

Fingers crossed that iOS 27 will further enhance the adaptive power feature!

I will run macOS 26.6 Beta on my MacBook Neo until the public beta of 27. Wanted to wait a bit, as a performance regressions would hit the Neo harder. Running the beta of 27 on my Pro and it's fine. So I assume by the time public beta is out, should be okay for the Neo too.

This time of year, when most of the focus is on the next OS, anyone on the current OS betas will basically be the guinea pig for any needed security updates and other bug fixes. And that’s always welcome!

Even though I am guessing most moved to iOS27 thread, I will still speculate that since Apple likes Monday releases that we may see 26.5.2 on Monday next week.
Please do. I'm just starting with IOS 26 and trying to get used to it. It isn't bad, but I'm not going to go over to a Beta 1 on a brand new phone.

I've been tempted, but decades of beta testing has taught me that the 1st beta almost always lulls people into that false sense of hope that it'll be alright.. Then beta 2 comes around.. Then beta 3.. Almost always a moth or so of pain.
