Is now the moment of iPadOS?… or are they going to introduce the new version of visionOS?

OMG, Metal 4 looks quote good! It looks like they want to slow but steadily get into the gaming market…

No, they are saving iPadOS for the last… I sense something big… I’m flying over to the iPadOS thread!

Some of the text on the glass effects have really bad contrast in some spots making it hard to read. This design will need some tweaking.

I haven't seen anything nor do i know anything. On a scale of 1-10. How hype are you for the new updates when they drop in Sept?

Only interested on macOS so far, honestly, it looks to bring nice quality of life touches…

And I’m still hyped by iPadOS, given that they have left it for the last part of the keynote.

Given that the M2 is being used extensively for the Vision Pro, hopefully my M2 iPad Pro will receive most, if not all of the new iPadOS 26 features…

How do we even know which feature will drop in Sept. versus December or May, or in IOS27?

I won't get interested until I see what features actually are in bete in any given time. So my "hype number" is 0.

It does seem like that there's no new "major" features. Hopefully that means that focus has been on squishing bugs and improving performance and battery life. Though I fear that the new iOS 26 will be a buggy mess for the next year...

iPadOS 26 introduces powerful new features that push the capabilities and versatility of iPad even further

I’m seeing a lot of, “that will be useful” type improvements. Once we get passed all the folks who can’t wait to post about how bad anything Apple does is, I’m thinking it will be a useful upgrade

Yeah. Maybe the hype for the new UI was a big exaggerated, as I feel it a bit underwhelming, but I’m seeing many interesting implementations to macOS and, especially, iPadOS.
