iOS 26 Speculation Thread

I can't with all of the moaning here LMAO I'm sure it will feel different once we install them, also there's always more features and changes that are not covered in the keynotes.

Give it a few days/weeks before saying you're disappointed. I'm quite happy with what I saw!

yeah. Usually the product page has all the goodies.

Just wondering if the file app has been improved for iPadOS, we still have to do the naked dance through hoops to transfer file from iPad to PC right?

Indeed! I wished they detached notification centre from the lock screen, or however I'd have to describe it. I'd rather have notificaiton centre combined with control centre and have a single type of swipe from the top.

So who's taking the Dev Beta plunge?

I usually wait for the public but I'm not feeling patient this year. Yes I know it can be buggy as hell and we're basically on our own with it, but I like a challenge and my iPad isn't a mission critical device. Should be fun. 😄
 
Glass is cool, but they should have actually changed the icons more. Played it way too safe. The only thing they actually delivered on is the iPad menu bar imo.

I have no self control in this aspect. I could say "Yeah I'll wait" but I know I'll hit that button the moment it appears lol

With as awful as battery life has been for the entirety of the iOS 18 (and macOS 15) cycle, I feel like the only place it can go from here is up.


Bring on the betas!
