Am I the only one having issues with new Siri and CarPlay? It seems like with new Siri active, old Siri and new Siri are BOTH active.... or at least some of their animations and sound effects. With new Siri, if I tell her to text someone there is a good 10-15 second gap before she asks what I want to say. That same delay occurs before most voice prompts. And throughout the process, it seems like two different sound effects are playing, with one preempting the other. At one point, ALL sound stopped including voice prompts. This was not resolved when I disconnected the phone and re-connected in the car's BT settings. It was also not resolved when I closed messages in the phone and re-launched it. Turning Siri off and then on again partially cleared it but the messages screen in the car was blank.

I finally turned Siri off and then back on again. I then selected OLD Siri when it asked and everything went back to normal.... no delays and no overlapping sounds.

Just me? Or should I send feedback?
Also have not experienced this at all. I only get new Siri in carplay.

Try updating (not restoring) from recovery using the IPSW maybe?

Anyone know how to customize Standby clock widgets now? Used to be a long press in iOS 26 but doesn't work in b2.

Yes I am experiencing this. The new Siri is slow to respond and then sometimes the old Siri responds and is really fast no lag. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Okay I just had a very weird bug, one of my favorites in Safari was deleted and replaced with a random tech news website I never heard of and never visited, the website even seems to be inactive for the past few months. At first I though I somehow might have tapped something by mistake, but it's an odd website and previous tide was replaced and gone now.

Check your Photos settings on your Macs.

I just realized my photos hadn’t been syncing since beta 1 (my last photo was a screenshot of beta 1’s download size).

My library was no longer set as my system photo library.

As soon as I set it to be the system photo library, it immediately downloaded my images.

This isn't new (nor is it a bug fix, change, or improvement!), but I keep hoping Health will get better at this. I snapped this from bed this morning before I'd gotten up. And, no, it wasn't from the night before; I went to bed before midnight.

(And, yes, I know I need to lose weight.)
Shiiiiii-. I’d take 193 all day. Though I’d look like a skeleton at that point.

Keep pushing that rock. You can do it.

I posted about that in the B1 thread as I had that issue. Like you, I also posted about this mac issue in the iOS beta thread 😁

As you say, the fix is very straight foreward once you notice it.

I think it's a known issue but is anyone else seeing imessags not syncing with icloud? My iPhone's says it was lat synced 6/7 and iPad 6/10. When I try to manually sync it says 'syncing' and then just stops eventually. Tried on multiple wifi networks and on cellular just to make sure it wasn't something else.

My personal shortcut Automations were totally broken until I added a notification to each one so I could visualize how often they are failing. As soon as I enabled notifications, they began working flawlessly yesterday.

Are automations still broken for most people? Did anyone’s automations suddenly begin working again?
I’ve toggled them off and on and rebooted iPhone still very buggy.

Feedback sent!

Mentioned multiple times already. Known issue.

I just took a photo with my 13 Pro and it synced in a few secs to my 17 Pro. Both on b2.

Do you have new Siri? Once you have that, it’ll change the notification animations.
I don't have the new Siri, but I don't understand why they would link a notification animation to a chatbot. Apple is starting to create fragmentation of functions within its own operating system haha

I have a similar issue, although wasn’t sure how to describe it. Whenever I ask Siri to message someone or phone it turns on what seems like transparency mode on the AirPods. All of a sudden I can hear Siri and whatever music thats on at the same time.

This has been happening for me as well, although I wasn’t sure how to describe it. Whenever I ask Siri to message or phone someone it turns on what seems like transparency mode on the AirPods. All of a sudden I can hear Siri and whatever music is on at the same time. I’d been experiencing similar since iOS 26 Beta but got use to it as the issue then would be that Qobuz wouldn’t start playing again. Until today, I was using CarPlay wired, now it’s wireless for some reason. I don’t know if I have the new Siri or not tbh, but when I figure it out I will send feedback.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but when on a call, the elapsed time cuts off in the Dynamic Island, bug filed.

This is on an iPhone Air

If you have the control center turned off on the allow access when locked, you can access it when locked. Reported it as a bug.

I toggled mine on/off and tried to swipe down from the top-right while covering the FaceId camera ... couldn't open the CC. Unlocked, and the CC opened.

I forgot to try it before doing the toggle on/off thing.

Odd, CC opens when it shouldn’t on mine. I toggled on/off, rebooted my iPhone and everything.
